A Series that Rivals Hetalia

If you read Hetalia, or are currently reading it, you will absolutely love this. No question about it. The 4-koma deals with central asia, particularly Afghanistan, hence the title, but it does so in an entertaining, yet informative way. Props to the mangaka. I really enjoyed their personification of each country and the side notes.

I regret having not read this title sooner.
It's extremely interesting as an historical and political lesson.
The concept was something i had never seen before, and although i would like the layout to be a little different, i just need to be glad that this manga exists.
What i also liked was the fact that it isn't pretentious like other political manga, trying to shove ideals in people's brains, it feels honest.
More people should read this.

Political anthropomorphism of sorts

This is a very interesting little one-shot; it is cleverly written and gives the readers a good idea of the instability and harshness of the political world.
The side-notes explaining the situation that inspired each 4-koma, taught me more about politics than any Social Studies lesson could. And of course, the fact that the art is so cute doesn't hurt either smile

If you liked Hetalia Axis Powers, this little manga is a must-read!

It's a great little 4-koma that is more of a history lesson than a joke. It is very refreshing to see something that isn't so slanted towards the US for once, and it's a great way to learn about the country and it's history.

Very smart. One of the most interesting/fascinating things I have read in a while. Oh, and I have to add... "a bit political" Oh, Yeah... but you know, it shows more than what most americans know about that region.

I feel sorry for little Afghanisu-tan. It's such a cute little manga about a cute little girl making her way across. On a literal level, it's quite a sweet story. But after staring at the title for a while, it seems to be a bit political - and optimistic, as well.

Man, I wish I had thought of this. It reminds me of a political cartoon, only it's adorable and more fun to read. The style is so cute, I read this right away as soon as I found it, and I was impressed at how well it applies to actual politics. I'm surprised that it's not more popular, though--how can you people resist that cute little face? But oh well, to each his own. I for one really want to see more of this kind of thing; kudos to the author for ingenuity and cuteness!
