I Don’t Care; I Like This

Say what you want about me and this manga but I just like it so much. It’s honestly quite forgettable and not even as half as good as much as I like it. It’s really awkward at moments, especially with conversations and plot lines left mid-way at times, but I just like this so much. (Probably because of the mood I was when I read it?) Btw, I am sure that I have read this before as well but really, it’s worth reading twice. It’s attracts me because of the relationship between the main couple and how he Tsutsui goes out of his way to introduce Naitou to his parents as his lover – that just kills me.

I guess it's okay? Not much to fuss over. Though the resolutions surprised me a bit lol. It's like they didn't see the problem as a problem so they left it as it is, something like that. While it's good that the 1st seme was considerate to the uke, I don't really agree to him moving out of his parents house. And I didn't get the 5.5 chap wherein
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the uke moved in with the 1st seme. He mentioned that the seme's apartment was way worse than his on the 2nd (or 1st? Idk) chapter, so why the heck would you move in together with the seme instead of the other way around?
it's like they're embracing the idea of being poor (and maybe consider it as for funconfused Idk just idk) when it isn't really necessary. Just why, though? It started as cool, and idk it got weird or something in many ways.

Unususal but sweet

The characters have just enough time for you to get to know them but I do wish that there was a bit more character building. Real-life problems seem somewhat dimmed as there should have been more talk about thin walls, family against it, etc.
The butler story was refreshing and sweet but again, a bit more character development would have made it better.

I still rate the manga a 10 as it was refreshing, relaxing and sweet. Not a lot of H scenes but that's what makes it nice as well. biggrin

If you've read Kato-sensei's works before this isn't anything unexpected. It's simple and a nice way to waste time. The art is nice, characters bland but okay and the story just sort of.. is there. Typical manga poor/rich people stereotypes.

Boring

Although I agree that some of the protagonists come off as boring, the main pitfall here is that it's simply boring and predictable. There is nothing new to see here. Neither the story, nor the characters are fleshed out at all. They don't feel organic.

Creepy is the new black?!

LOL @ Hanawie's review. I agree somewhat. One person in each pairing is quite creepy, but it is yaoi and it is unrealistic, so I didn't really see a problem. Everyone is also so devoted to their lovers and THAT always cancels out any creepiness (as long as the creepiness is not directed at characters other than the creeps' love interests).

Something about the main guy, Tsutsui, creeps me out. The way he tries to get Naito was just plain creepy (especially when it came to the bread). I was half-expecting him to go yandere the entire time. The butler was stalkerish too so I guess it's just a problem with how Tsutsui was raised?
