No sarcasm—this was a really productive use of my five minutes. The story is nostalgic but it's not all doom and gloom. I think it was perfectly executed in a oneshot, no less and no more words necessary. Just a wistful story that comes to a man's mind at his grandpa's funeral.

It's a nice read, not really "romance" per se, but a good read and you can feel the bittersweetness of the experiences of all characters involved. Razor sharp dialogues in all panels.

It's not the drawing style, that made me take a look, because usually I don't like adults being drawn all cutely and childlike. However, the storyline picked my interest.

The setting is rather uncommon, starting with a funeral and dealing with the past love, that can't ever be reached or fullfilled. Still the characters emotions are alive and run wild, when facing suddenly the people involved and bound to that memories. It's a clear message, that comes with the ending, when the character has sorted out his feelings and faced the situation. That's why, this will be an interesting read for anyone looking for a change of pace and not only a common romance oneshot.

I don't normally like oneshots so much. Usually because they're too short and there's not enough space to dive into the story.
I enjoyed this one very much. Simple, sweet, sad. Still, there was something different about it that sets it apart for me. Guess you'd just have to read it to find out.
