Story 1-4 is complete garbage

Very unlikeable, deadbeat main character who is a complete loser. The "otp" has zero chemistry. The story meander aimlessly, going nowhere, serving no purpose. I do not recommend.

This is quite a decent collection of stories (though the second story is more like a follow-up of the first instead of a separate one). I like the writing style, and as always Hideyoshico's art is very good. It definitely seems underrated compared to her other BL titles.

After having read some of Hideyoshico's work, I'd have to say that sensei has a unique sense of storytelling that stirs up emotions from within the reader. This compilation is of no exception. I particulalrly liked the second story (Derashine no Hana), and its well-mixed themes of love and death. Another commendable aspect of this work is the elegant use of language accompanied by interesting art. Lastly, I find it amazing how sensei incorporated the supernatural touches of this story seemlessly into reality.

Didn't give it a full score though, since I beleieve tha the first story was not up to par with the other two in this compilation.

It's not too H-heavy for a yaoi, which is good. The story is enough to make up for the lack of it. I really liked Bin-chan, the Shinigami. I kind of wish the first story was longer, but then that might mess up the sentimentality you get from it. The call back in one of the extras makes me think the first and second chapters' protagonist is linked. Rebirth, maybe? wink

Liked it, gave of this smooth- melancholic feeling that's typical of Hideyoshico. I loved the second story involving the Shinigami, rather than the first one. The first one felt kinda shallow, and I got irritated by the lazy-guy.

Recommended, as a light read.
