Description
On the way home from work on Christmas Eve, 26-year-old blue-collar worker Yamada stumbles upon a drunk and crying high school boy and takes him in for the night. This boy, Chihiro, is polite, a good housekeeper, and lives quite close by, so he ends up coming over to Yamada's place from time-to-time to cook for him as thanks for the rescue. Yamada finds out later that the reason Chihiro was so miserable on the day they first met is because he was mulling over being in love with his best friend...

Absolutely Adorable

This manga is the definition of fluffy. It's so incredibly sweet and the characters are really easy to grow fond of. A man picks up a young high school student found passed out and decides to take care of him. But let's be honest, although Yamada brought Chihiro in, Chihiro initially takes care of Yamada and basically becomes a cute housewife. (Being a good cook and all with his flowery apron, aww.) Anyways, the story progresses at a nice pace and establishes such a great slice of life feeling to it. The art is sketchy looking, but i think it suited this story wonderfully. These love birds are so cute it makes me want to throw up rainbows. God, what a bunch of cute idiots.

I was hesitant getting into this at first because of the age difference between the two leads, especially given the fact that the younger one is still in high school. However, there was no creepiness to their relationship (which I have found in so much other BL) and it's just extremely cute. Mita Ori's artwork does wonders for upping the cute factor, especially Chihiro's expressions and his little siblings. I became super protective of Chihiro, who is practically the definition of a "sweet cinnamon roll." Also,

I cried when we got a little peek into his life, especially with the flashback about people telling him to "man up" and then his crying face on the next page while he remembers the old man telling him that it'll be alright. SOB.
Definitely read this if you want some fluff.

At the end of the manga, the author writes "This may seem strange, but while thinking those two are somewhere out there, cheering me on I was able to draw". Having known these characters, that line brought tears to my eyes. The characters seem real and their interactions seem honest. This is a truly good series.

At first I wasnt too fond of the art but it does fit the whole 'yamada-the-ojisan-at-age-26'-joke pretty well. It is actually quite a touching manga that is cute without being ridiculous. I generally like when a manga provokes me into feeling for the protagonists. That is also something that isn't easily accomplished. I definitely recommend giving this one a try.

This is possibly one of the cutest BL mangas I've read in a while! The age gap thing doesn't seem too bad as Yamada is actually quite young despite his appearance. There are many funny moments too. Loving it so far (I'm up to chapter 4, but it's looking like it might be the end?)!
