Matsuda Koito is a girl full of enthusiasm, spirit of initiative and intolerant towards injustice. Having arrived in high school, she is convinced that everything will go the right way, until she meets her problematic classmate: Akiyama Taiga. The boy, listless and not at all cooperative, does not nourish sympathy towards Matsuda, nor does he seem to appreciate it. Having declared mutual hatred, they will clash repeatedly on several fronts, but something seems to unite them: both conceal a secret.
