Mixed feelings

- Norihiko's motivations are deeply interesting... however he's no Mikkelson Hannibal Lecter. I cannot find him charming.
- Ikurou is bland. That oyaji is right about him having no character to speak of.

- For freaks like me who like the 父-con.... lol. A little interesting. but I'm really not interested in reading that with Ranzou, who is stuck in a child-like state incapable of most words...
- Ran into my trigger a little so I was grossed out and had to tap out for a bit... (freudian reasons for choosing his wife... but to be fair there was 0 attraction, just loneliness)

- The problem is... it's interesting, but it reads and feels like chewing tar. The main couple just has one f*ck with the other and sex or rape. I don't feel a connection, nor chemistry, other than a bland sort of codependency. Why do they even like each other lol. Like, Hannigram has chemistry like fire, y'know?
- At some point I got tired of the licorice flavor and started skimming the middle parts (note to self to keep track)

- Fucking with the wife was completely unnecessary and meaningless beyond
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Nori's intentions to drive Ikurou into a corner of despair, but I mean. Her writing is kind of misogynistic in how poorly she's treated, but at the same time, Nori's supposed to be evil and cruel like that? I do like how he never holds any ill will towards these puppets, though... he's just using all of them to entertain himself, lol... Lecter-like.

- ngl I think if they burned down entangled together in that house of fire, that would've been the perfect ending, lol. No hate, I genuinely think that would have been beautiful, lmao, since I don't... really trust Psyche Delico to give us an Ogawa Chise-level happy ending...

Honestly she is a godsent & I think she’s the only chance of those brothers leading a normal life since all the men in their lives are straight up scoundrels

WOW this manga is a trip. it has such a dark atmosphere and it seems like the land itself corrupts all who set foot on it until they go mad. all the main characters are super fucked up and have extremely unhealthy relationships with each other. Outsiders who get involved inevitably slowly become twisted themselves. I'm so hooked. I want to see how it all ends. It's like watching a fly scoot around a venus fly trap, waiting for the inevitable.

Heed all warnings: things get really dicey. This manga is like a much, much darker version of Ze, without the magic and with much more twisted characters. There is really nothing heartwarming about this manga at all, only characters grasping at love and always missing.

This story line is really messed up but its also surprisingly good, the art is also good, and the name is very fitting. The storyline itself is very dark and unpredictable and keeps you on the edge of your seat while also making you think about what could happen next.

I reccomend this to people who are used to what the tags say and do not reccomend this to light hearted shoujo people who can't handle dark themes, not to mention its yaoi, incest, and child abuse.

For those who've just finished this or want to read something similar read Coponicus no Kokyuu, its similar to this although art is not as good i feel it portrays and adds emotion to the dark story that it is, you'll probably feel like quitting in chapter 0-2 by chapter 3 you'll want to know more and continue reading. Its very good and the ending is happy.
