Touching, but a wee bit predictable

I like the art and characters very much. Both are mature and engaging, but the direction the story takes starts to get very predictable, very quickly. It might appeal to fans of unrequited love a bit more than others, but it definitely feels right in terms of pacing and conclusion than most oneshots which deal with a similar premise.
