Description
From Condensation:
"In this world, is there really such a thing as an awesome guy?"

Midori just started high school and isn't interested in guys. She thinks they're all like her brother, Takeshi, who is rude and spoiled. Her way of thinking changes when a classmate of hers is pulled into the street dancing team led by Takeshi and his best friend, Sutou.

At first glance Higa may seem like a plain and quiet guy--but when the music starts flowing and his body starts moving--he transforms into a completely different person... Even Midori can't keep her eyes off him.

Nice story, great art

I love the way she draw dancers but the people... Rika and Mi-chan had exactly the same face, it was so confusing!
The story is nice but I don't really like this mangaka storytelling. It's like I can't get into it, the characters are plain and I feel totally like a bystander watching an act. There is no truth in it. (I know it sounds crazy, it is a work of fiction but you know, we all like the stories to be kind of realistic).

A Different Sort of Manga

It's a decent plot but nothing too original. What is more original is MATSUMOTO's signature style: it feels like all the important events are skipped and one only sees the times in between. Slow pace and an "everyday" feeling, even at the crucial parts when the readers tension should be at it's greatest. Even when MATSUMOTO's manga's aren't classififed as "slice-of-life" that's still the feeling I get when I read them. Something in the pacing and art just sort of feels like life and time are flowing around the characters and they don't even realize it. It's a nice change of pace, but not somewhere I'd like to live.
Perhaps because of this pacing, the characters don't seem developed well at all. They're just sort of there, not doing anything, letting everything happen to them, even the ones that are considered "attention-grabbing" and "active." Which also probably explains the rather half-way finish in the romance. I mean, the result is clear enough but...
In some ways, it's very interesting because the style and tone are so different from most scanlated manga, but it's just not my back of chips. To me, it's a nice change of pace occasionally, but not something I'd read often.

I really enjoyed the art. The story line was not all that impressive. Sometimes you just can't win them all. This on the whole was an alright manga.

I really liked this manga even if it's not the best one I read far from it.
The art is pretty bad 6.5/10 and the story is about 8/10... it's too short! The plot is not developed enough...
If there was one or two volumes more it could be 9.5 or 10...(the story I mean)
My comment seems harsh even if I liked it... to tell you the trust I don't even know why I liked it... must be ... like tuhuyen264 and bikuki said...different or weird ^^
You should read it and make an opinion by yourself... really it's an great manga... to pass some time or if you don't have anything to read...

Dance Dance

The art isn't stunning but I wouldn't call it bad in the least. The dance scenes were really lacking, Since manga only potrays still shots of events the dancing should have been picture after picture of amazing poses, but in the manga it just looks like there bending their knees and since dance and music is a vocal point of the manga the lack of the two is really bad. Her other work I like but this is just a miss for me.

just pretty funny, I thought his dancing just looked well to be frank rather stupid and found myself laughing at it! The story would have been fine its predictable its shoujo but the dancing just really made it silly its probably too difficult to draw street dance in a manga well, works fine in a anime but not really a manga when you can't actually see them moving.

it was an okay manga. the mangaka didn't really delve into the characters too much since it was a oneshot.. i liked the concept, though, i only wish it was a bit longer. maybe it would have been a little better if it had a good ending. who knows, eh?

and it was mentioned earlier.. but why IS this under action? for the one 'fight scene' that wasn't really shown that spanned, like, two pages? hmm. -shrug-

I wouldn't say this is fast-paced at all; Matsumoto's stories tend to be rather slow in general. This one would be similar. There's an overall flat slowness to it that isn't necessarily negative; it's just her style. Perhaps because this is a oneshot, it doesn't explain a lot of background and it just skids over the surface most of the time.

This is another of those "boy meets girl" stories set in school, but it's a little different in that the characters don't hug and kiss and stare lovingly into each other's eyes as they blush. It's a lot more subtle than that, and that's what I like about this manga. The overall theme of dancing is always interesting, too.
