On one hand, I like it because although it has a typical plot, I haven't read a story with this kind of situation yet so it's interesting. However, the way the whole love triangle is presented really annoys me.

Of course it's boring if she ends up with Kaede, but it is also for me even more boring if she ends up with Maki. Why? Because in most shoujo mangas like this, it usually ends up with the main character who ends up with the best friend of the guy she first like so I'd rather she end up with Kaede (Although I may be biased since I usually like the darker haired ones, plus Maki really looks like a girl with the eyes and the lips and all)

I'm also the type of person who when she feels like it's not going to end the way I wanted it to, I'd drop reading that manga so that's why I gave it this rating. I reached chapter 28. It's not bad, but it just irritates me since I felt like it kept going in circles too long.

Maki and Kaeda are typical shoujo love triangle characters. I've seen their personalities in every manga of this type, so ofcourse the ending is pretty obvious.
Riku reminds me slightly of a looser version of Tohru from Fruits basket. Not nearly as innocent or kind but a little similar. A little.

I'll keep reading for now though.
I just hope she doesnt turn into a crybaby.

I've only read chapter 1 and I want to discuss about Kaede and Maki, too: my first impression of Maki was really bad, he looks weird with his eyes and he is so harsh and rude... Meanwhile Kaede seems to be the cool guy, who every girl falls for...kind of boring, I think. But I want to give it a try...

EDIT: I didnt give it a try and until I just found my own comment (and felt totally surprised since I didn't remember that I know this mange). I think there are too many shojo series out there with EXACT the same persons: love-triangle. One black-haired, one "white" haired and the female lead would definetely end up with the one she was NOT in love with at the begining, but his best friend (or whatever). I bet.

LOL pinkandblack! However, I pretty much dissagree with you.

As YukiC has stated, it would pretty dull if Riku ended up with Kaede... I mean he is a typical bishie hero with good looks and the brains. But I personally think that he doesn't have much of a personality, or should I say INTERESTING personality as Maki!?

I've been rooting up for Maki since the beginning... come on guys... he is awesome... ;D

Anyway, overall I think this manga is pretty typical and full of cliché... nothing particularly 'special'. But is recommended for those who like a light read of romance...

I dunno.....Kaede....he was my first favourite, but doesn't anyone ELSE think that if things ended up working out with Riku and him it would be so boring. He's just the typical manga hero good looking and smart. As the story went along i switched and totally rooted for Maki. I like his feisty attitude and how he gets so frazzled!! I think that Riku and Maki REALLY compliment eachothers personalities, it's always a little more interesting between them. I really love this manga. It's SO cute!!

anyways,at first i thought this magna would be a really typical shojo wich'll bore me.
well,actually yeha,it is typical,but i really enjoy reading it!
At first i didnt like the Characters,but after a while riku became rather cute than annoying and maki...well,actually i liked maki from the start!xD (i do wonder why he looks like he wears make--up though...)

yea i thought riku should also go for kaede. then again... she liked kaede first and im sure this manga is a typical shoujo-romance plotline so she will eventually not end up with a guy who is her first love. HAH! my guess but it could be true. as said, typical manga. hahah~

well i really enjoy reading the mangaka's works so im enjoying this manga for so far. but the fact that she is the principal of this school is amusing

Riku should totally go for Kaede!!! I don't know who she'll end up with but I'm not hoping it's not Maki. Maki looks kinda weird. He looks like a girl. Kaede has that manly look. Go kaede and for the story, it's alright. I like to read mangas with good looking male characters and since Maki isn't, I kinda lost interest but i'm rooting for Kaede.
