About a guy who doesn't want to get married and a girl who wants to do anything to get married.

The series is cliche. But It handles it well. I think a lot of can be found upon the characters core. The MMC doesn't want to get married as he feels like marriage is a curse to tie a person down. While the FMC marriage is a way to make a safe haven for her husband and future children. These 2 begun a relationship fairly early on in the series. Despite knowing what each others viewpoint in life is.

Now in reality a couple dating expecting the other to change there mind is just pain waiting to happen. But this is a manga so of course everyone's gonna roll with it.

Now the series is very romantic and very calm. Despite a shoujo series. It has a love triangle but like not really either. I think the author handled it well enough but if this is how she was going to resolve it might as swell not introduce it all.

There is also a lot of sex in this series.... Not that im complaining but I was just taken aback. I've been reading so many teenage rom coms. I forget what adult relationships are like.

The series though loses me near the 7th volume as it does the adult version of moving away to study, and that is moving away for promotion. And it kinda sucks the series just decided to go in that direction. It also drones on and on for like 3 volumes too long. It did have a good finish but still very lacking in regards to what it could have been.

I loved the art combined with the romance the author really knew how to make a girl look like she was in love. I just think that she could have done a better job with the last arc.

The side stories are ok. The oneshots are incredibly repetitive. Its guy and girl have complicated relationship, Guy looks at another girl for 3.14 seconds. Girl thinks she was useless. He chases. they fuck the end.

The one with where the FMC had rough sex with the male lead. That was a good oneshot i must admit.

As far as the main story goes. Romance was good. Drama was acceptable. Ending is too long. Despite these hiccups i still think everyone's getting married was a pretty enjoyable experience albeit not a memorable one. 7/10

Finally, something that is cliché but not boring

It's your typical romance josei manga, a good looking guy and a beautiful woman with two conflicting idea trope, got to admit the execution was well done and it doesn't drag on long for it to reach it's conclusion. Recommended for you who try to read a light read without overblown drama.

This is definitely a delayed review as I started reading this in 2015 when the first scanlations released and finished in 2019 with the official VIZ releases.

I absolutely love this series. You can’t help rooting for Asuke & Ryu, not only in their relationship but also their individual careers. Yes, the 3rd wheel in the “love triangle” can get annoying considering how long he’s a part of this story, but he definitely shows that he is a contender

(even though Asuka was never swayed, no matter what happened...which also shows just how much Asuka & Ryu trusted each other!)
. The fact that this wasn’t dripping in drama and misunderstandings left me with a josei that was full of fresh air. Now the only reason this wasn’t rated even higher is because of the ending:

Even though I didn’t want it to happen, I get that they needed to focus on their careers, especially with the long distance being so far from each other. The breakup and ending just felt so rushed where they meet so many years later and instantly decide to marry!? You definitely won’t be the same person by then.
But it was still such a sweet ending and I’m hoping to one day read what seems to be a sequel/side story!

. Write a story of the series that was getting picked up by Vis I fell in love the artwork straight away. Even before it came out inside to look it up to see what the series is about. And read it from there. The store is very realistic and towards adults. Some people that read it find it quite slow and rather boring but to me never seen the case especially after coming after happy marriage which I also enjoyed with all the fun and problems that was in that book. The characters are very as many people have said realistic the female lead is very strong and adamant towards her goals in life but also is willing to make changes and help change the character himself who does not want to get married. They have problems just like adults do they get into fights as adults do and they have different views on relationships which I find very fun very enjoyable to read. I also heard this became a drama which I have not yet seen But the characters are fun the stories just very different and very great from Adult point of view. I would say if you're into that kind of serious and you get tired from the typical cliches of Shoujo I would say get this ago

The manga definitely stands apart from the other romances out there. The female lead is strong and the male lead is not a jerk. In fact, the level of honesty in their relationship takes me by surprise at times. I don't mean the bigger details like admitting to a wrongdoing, but something as simple as telling someone you want to see them. It's quite heartwarming. I am really glad I picked up the manga!

Refreshing change

In a sea of middle/high school romances this manga of career driven young adults is refreshing and enjoyable. I understand most manga caters to that age range but sometimes a manga with realistic ideas and challenges can bring a different feeling atmosphere. It is silly and cute while still being realistically problematic for the main characters. I look forward to the rest of the series!

Very realistic series for OLs

This manga depicts the life of a young career woman in search for, not love, but a marriage partner. It's such a surprise to see a manga that does not show a heroine who's too hung up on the idea of mere romance but more on the concept of a life-long relationship. Asuka's love interest Nanami Ryuu is a swooner, but Asuka is not one to be swooned easily. You'd want to root for her even if she doesn't return the guy's advances that much.
