At first it was pretty much common tropes, but then we get the flashbacks chapter where Miharu already love Heita since he was child, and immediately ask for permission to his parents, and wait patiently for 13 years to finally be with Heita!!!! If that wasn't True Love and Patience, I don't know what is! Also it wasn't Shotacon or Pedo no matter how people would go "ewww", because Miharu literally Love even the adult Heita so much! And probably Love him when he was full adult and growing old together. That's True Love!!! Miharu just happen to met Heita when he was a little too young. And he wait for Heita to be more sure about his feeling until he's in 20! I Am Adore This Manga So Much Because I Have Been Waiting for Such Patient Love like This!

Not gonna dig deeper into the whole moral debate here; I just wanna say that for such a buildup and all the dramatics, the climax didn't turn out to be the explosive conclusion I naturally expected so that's a bit of a letdown. There's not a lot of chemistry between the main characters either, and coupled that with how unromantic their relationship's foundation is, you've got a pretty boring end product that nails down neither the romance nor drama department. Can't say I was impressed.

This started out mundane, but fine. The age difference isn't my thing, but it's kind of run of the mill and non-offensive. It took a serious turn for the creepy around ch 3 though. Miharu is essentially a pedophile, and even asked Heita's parents to give Heita to him when he was just a small child. What in the world? That isn't romantic. I really can't find their current relationship endearing knowing that Miharu was romantically interested in Heita then. It already irks me when stories have older people fall for younger people who they watched grow up. This is a whole different level of ew.
