I quite like the rough-around-the-edges art style, and the story itself was promising. The execution on the other hand could've used a bit tightening up imo. Pacing was a bit messy, which is understandable because this manga was the author's first serialised work and it's not easy to write a properly balanced out story like one might think. Also, I appreciate the character development, but hopefully next time there'll be less telling and more showing than this.

I don't really know where to start. It's much more serious than it seems at first. The plot is very good. It starts with fast-flowing events and doesn't slow down till the end. There's a lot of surprises, turning points and stuff like that. The story is deep, it deals with some serious matters like gaining happiness, paying for one's stupidity, loosing your beliefs and even identity and still it's not cartoonish nor ridiculous. All of this serious stuff is served with a good sense of humour. I really had fun reading this.

All of the characters has a strong background, unique personalities and behaviour, they're smart and full of surprises. They seem very real. It feels like the mangaka really put some thought to make this work. The art is very good, it's pretty, often detailed, it suits the plot. Just remember, although the story takes place in a brothel there's not much hot sex inside. I was a bit disappointed. Anyway I had fun. It would be nice to see the continuation of main couple someday. On the other hand the end of the story - not so happy - makes it even more real life like, more believable.

It's been said that this is the first series of this mangaka, if it's true I really can't imagine how good will be the next one and then another. He already is a professional entertainer. It's not some average time-killer full of nudity so take your time while reading this yaoi.

I did not find the ending bad, but it was still lacking in many areas. Shiros past? I wanted closure. Relationship between Shiro and Kei? I wanted development and closure. Moreover, more plot about the other side characters wouldn't be bad either. A sequel would help an incredible lot to make this manga great.

I can't help but feel that it started off good, but that the author wasted its potential by rushing through the plot rather than taking the time to branch it out. Still a good read though, however, I wouldn't call it a masterpiece.

The story was very interesting and great, it really delves into the life of the prostitute who isn't depressed because they're a prostitute--there are a lot of sex workers in this manga who enjoy their work or don't see it as a big shame.

However, the ending is really unsatisfying and rushed.

It's a bunch of dudes who have their reasons for working at the male brothel, basically debt/not having a choice in the matter. It just feels like I don't really get to know who these people truly are.

There isn't much romance or steamy smut to look at here, more of a casual drama, but as I said, I don't feel much for the characters. Honestly, it's a lot of nothing until people split ways momentarily.

These people have some messed up back stories, but there's not enough context to know how bad everything truly is. These back stories have a sorta "big reveal" moment, except it wasn't that grand of a reveal...

I’d expected a love story, but I found a ‘life’ story instead. It wasn’t satisfying, but the characters were alive, and had their real stories to tell. It was a great read.

First things first, I want to say that I love Asada Nemui, she's one of my favorite author. Loved Circus is her first series and it was such a good read ! Honestly the story was interesting and the characters endearing and compelling. There were no 1D characters, all had their own personality, their complexity and their background. The story is deep and tackle interesting topics.

However Loved Circus was far from perfect (but to Asada Nemui' defense, it was her first serialized work). The main flaw is probably the pacing and then the main couple. Their romance wasn't well developed, the author spent more time on Joe's affairs rather than Kei & Shiro who did not have many scenes together. So I felt like Kei was more like an observant (representing the readers) watching those 3 men interact with one another and with their clients kinda like Seishun Runaway

Ani no Chuukoku was my introduction to ASADA Nemui and it was pretty weird, none of the stories had any real endings and it was just ehhh but.... BUT! Loved Circus makes me smile Must Be Endless are scanlating and they are doing a FABulous job - just 2 chapters in mind you so this review could change but after gorging myself on manga just to get my fix (manga i didnt really want to read) i am really looking forward to this one - to the point that i keep checking for releases... daily!

Loved Circus is one the best comedy drama manga written by Asada Nemui. There are 4 characters working as prostitutes in The Circus-Kei, Shiro, Joe & Rin-and i found them all interesting. The story is refreshing and really fun to read so I kinda wish it have sequels, like maybe one volume for each character.
