I find this kind of proxy type battle series boring and childish, imposible to relate or care about a fictitious game or a guy thinking he's cool because he's dragon is big and the main char has a small dragon but he becomes the biggest of em all... phallic parallelism somewhere?
In short can't get hooked up with the story, chars or events of the series.
Recommended for people on their early teens... maybe?

There's two completely different stories like first 8 vols, it's all about Reiji then after vol 8's few chapters, it went to another protagonist named Takumi. Personally, it'd be better if they just stop at vol 8 because I don't see anything new with Takumi (very similar from Reiji's), really. "/ However, it ended up that they eventually met up each other in later vols so it's alright. =)

in short, similar to chaosic rune but cuter. also what is similar is that they both haven't had a chapter scanlated in a while. entertaining, bot not brilliant. (maybe that will change in next 10 vols.. )

manga is pretty good but i think the anime is better

Very cute and interesting in its own genre. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes mangas like .hack// .
