This series was wrenched from the depths of my brain made exactly for me. The characters have wonderful chemistry with each other. The series is delightfully spooky, with comedic moments and adorable romance. This is my absolute favorite series.

The art is so gorgeous (especially the coloured pages), that now every other manga I read looks drab. I was tempted to drop this after the first chapter because I couldn't really connect with the story, but I'm glad I didn't. It gets a lot darker as it goes. I personally enjoyed it a lot.

I hope there'll be some character development on Nene's part though, her boy-crazy attitude is kinda irritating (and has landed her in trouble quite a bit)

I'm a bit surprised that it's shonen but has a female MC too. The art style is very colorful and unique. I like all the background detail from the school itself to the haunted places. I would say it starts out pretty dark but has an interesting blend of comedy and horror.

As of now, I read up to vol 13 and I have to say the main weakness is that each ch is repetitive basically Nene gets captured/kidnapped and then everyone else bands together to save her. Repeat forever. I wish she had a better personality other than liking hotties, cooking, and gardening. Also, it's p awk since all the guys seem to push their feelings on to her just to make Hanako-kun jealous who continues to hid his own true feelings. I get it everyone is 14 y.o. but it's like plz don't do this since it cuts down the agency of the female characters.

Gorgeous art with a cute spooky atmosphere that reminds me of Soul Eater. The characters are charming in their own ways and are all sweet to each other. The story has nice plot progression where you get the sense that the author really knows where she's going (i.e. meet each of the Seven Mysteries, discover Hanako's backstory, etc). Definitely geared towards younger readers. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cute, sweet story!

Honestly this manga ages like fine wine it just gets better and better the more you read it. You’ll get really hooked onto it. Haven’t liked a manga like this since kamisama kiss 🙂
