I really liked this manga, although the second story was a bit confusing. I couldn't get a handle on Katou's character and was annoyed by his mooching ways. He didn't get enough development, in my opinion, so it felt odd when his age kept randomly dropping (wtf? is he younger than the first couple? LOL aren't they worried?)

I also feel cheated that some smut scenes were basically omitted even though they are a bit crucial to the plot (Naoto and Shuu's first sexual encounter as well as Yoshiki and Katou's). It stunted some of the emotional impact of the coupling, in my opinion. Like we skipped over a crucial emotional development.

One thing I really wanted more of was more on Naoto and Yoshiki's relationship. There's something twisted there definitely, and I wanted to see more of the dynamic from the absolutely twisted Yoshiki and the faithfully pure Naoto (PROTECT NAOTO AT ALL COSTS). It would have made the second story have more emotional impact for me, seeing Yoshiki give up his attachment to his younger brother to pursue a new relationship. I also didn't like that the second story basically ignored Yoshiki's obvious mental illness until it mattered for the plot.

Still a story worth reading, I'm just so picky because there were so many loose threads!

I expected drama and heartbreak judging from the cover and yet was still punched in the gut by how messed-up and miserable the situation was for that one particular character. Don't worry it ended on a happy note (oops spoiler alert) so at least he was rescued from his misery I guess.. Despite the messy art I still quite like the artist's style, and her characters are simply adorable, something you wouldn't normally see coming from a story of this forlorn nature.

I dropped it the first time I read it, but then for some reason I picked it up again. I got interested in the big brother's story, and looks like the spin-off is gonna continue. I hope it will get even better, of course, and I always believe that Yoshiki is the no.1 main character of this series.

The summary is really misleading. This manga isn't centered around Yoshiki and his past is never mentioned other than having a crazy ex. Naoto doesn't even live with his brother (I think). This manga is about Shuu and Naoto with Yoshiki as a side character.
