I read this a LONG time ago when I was still in high school, but for me it's one of those that I wouldn't mind reading again and again. I thought it was so cute!! Brings a smile to my face just remembering it :-D

Dumb

Super, super dumb. Every single problem that occurs, EVERY single one, is just really, really dumb.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Your game got wiped because nail polish remover spilled on it? Well it's kind of your fault for spending months producing a game and having only ONE COPY OF IT. You broke up with your girlfriend because you thought her not sleeping with you meant she didn't love you? Maybe you should stop FORCING YOURSELF ON HER and wait til she's ready. A girl keeps pestering a guy to be her boyfriend and he straight up tells her she's not interested? No, he doesn't need to apologize, because he has every right to not like a girl. And he doesn't need to apologize his friend who also likes her... because... seriously, what? And no, her behavior is not ADMIRABLE, what the hell!

I stopped caring after two volumes and skipped to the end, while reading the summaries that were in the beginning of each volume. And then I realized that the next three volumes were filled with more stupid problems because this manga is jam-packed with angst and ~*~*teenage issues*~*~. Also the girl was really annoying. Haru was completely right, she butts into other people's issues that are utterly and completely not her business. I think that's mostly why all these problems seemed so dumb, she kept making such a big deal out of them.

I enjoyed this manga. ^^ The art - as several other works by Miki Aihara - is quite simple but as you read on you get to like it (or at least I did). Although it has several clichés of shoujo manga it has other things which are not that usual.

The fact that Haruta could not accept that he actually hated her because she used to (and still did) like her was very cute and childlike (they do say there is a thin line between hate and love). It's very usual for little boys to treat badly the girl they like. ^^

All in all it was a nice shoujo manga.

Entertaining. Funnay. But.. the whole Nana thing got on my nerves.. I think if I could truly learn to hate people, instead of feel sorry for them, I'd hate her.. Bewootiful manga overall. Silly Kuniyasu.. Oy oy oy!!!! Ran! Show Nana yer kewl socca moves!!

This starts off pretty good with a pretty cool heroine but then she becomes this stupid girl who cannot make up her mind....lets just say the last two volumes were quite tough because of her. The art is not bad and the story line is also good.

This manga was a bland shoujo. It has the same premise as most school life, love triangle shoujos and there are not many suprises. If there's nothing else to do then read this, otherwise it's not worth it.

I loved Haruta. XD I thought his reason for "revenge" was soo cute. ^___^

<33

Kaniyusa was like... ugh. *__*; I loved him. >>; BUT I STILL LIKED HARUTA BETTER.

Ran was so... desperate. And Nana... yuck

I wasn't expecting much from this manga but after reading it, I liked it. It was a pretty good story, with okay art. Miki Aihara's artwork is so different from her other works, but it wasn't that bad. I actually wanted to read more of this story, too bad it's only 5 volumes long.

It wasn't great nor was it bad, It was an okay read. The art was fine and the story kept me interested. It was good enough to keep me reading until the very end. I wasn't excpecting too much character development since this was a short manga. Never the less, read this if you having nothing else to do.

A solid effort...

It's important to remember that, despite being released in the US later than Hot Gimmick, this is actually an early work of Miki Aihara's. Therefore, you have to be a little more forgiving of art/plot mishaps.

All-in-all, however, I enjoyed this series. The art was a little rough, sure. The story not as compelling as Hot Gimmick's. BUT... It's a solid effort, nonetheless. I enjoyed it. It kept me amused for five volumes, which not ALL manga can do. I also felt that it was the right length. Not too long, not too short. Just right. The ending was satisfying.

And it was fascinating to see how much Miki Aihara's art has changed over the years! She's truly gone from average artwork to really unique and enjoyable art. It's nice to get a glimpse of where she started out to really see just how much she's advanced.

Which isn't to say this art is BAD... It's just not great. Average.
