Interesting so far...

I may or may not change what I say here depending on future chapters. I really hope that the manga maintain the artistic level of social and gender implications that they've shown thus far. But I know I'm only hoping in vain.

One thing that I found to be quite creative about this manga is that it is drawn in a male oriented art style of a love-comedy despite being quite a dramatic and serious manga. Manga that are drawn from this art style tend to be less serious and symbolic in terms of story and characters. This manga however, surprised me with the subtle implications of sex and gender within a society where one can easily change their sex. This bring about many challenging ideas on sexuality and genderism from a manga that is supposedly a simple Rom-Com. This aspect makes the story interest in terms of manga and in terms of humanity. After all, we are composed of how we see ourselves, how other see us, and who we really are.

As for the story itself, it is, more or less, as interesting or as boring as any other romance story. What is different though is that a lot of Shoujo aspects is use in this Male Oriented Story. They don't make Shounen romance like this anymore. Nowadays, everything that matters is the MC. Rather than the Mc itself, this story is oriented around its Heroine and her actions which is connected to the other characters in the story. Although the story itself is quite simple, the deliver of the story is complex in that sense. I really hope that the manga maintain its level of idealism and symbolism towards gender and sexuality through the story and the characters rather than making the manga into purely a romance that has nothing to do with symbolism anymore. It would be fascinating to wrap the story at the end with a message or a key point to deliver an idea that is truly what the author believes in. Rather than the story itself, I'm more interested in the brain behind the story. Especially when the author is a female notorious for her hentai.
