Can a relationship survive after an affair? Azu is 30-year-old stay at home mom and she runs a nail salon in her apartment. While carrying the frustration of thinking that her husband Junpei (32) doesn't love her as a woman anymore, she raises the child they were blessed with and continues through the motions of everyday life. One day, while Azu is running her salon, a customer asks to borrow her cellphone, and shows her something dangerously entrancing. A few days afterward, she receives a notification from an unknown man, sending Junpei and Azu's relationship into the deep-end. From Yukari Koyama of the TV drama "Rose-Colored Crusade" comes a challenging original work. You are invited to the story of 4 married people that could take place anywhere, filled with temptation, betrayal and broken hearts.

Infidelity and forgiveness
Rating: 8.0 / 10.0

There's a very good story here about how infidelity can completely unravel people's lives. The pain of losing trust in someone you thought you knew, the anger of feeling inadequate plus the long and uncertain road that forgiveness is. You can really feel each character's pain. All the major characters have very good reasons for behaving the way they do so nothing here really feels irrational like the drama in so many other shoujo/josei does.

However, the story has reached a point where it feels like the main plot points should have already been concluded. Right now it feels like we're being taken for another ride just for the sake of keeping things going. I really liked Rina as a character at first because I could completely understand the way she was feeling due to her insecure and controlling husband. But now she's just a generic super evil yandere who is constantly scheming new ways to fuck with Junpei. For that reason I have decided to put the manga on hold until it's finished.

That being said, I still wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone looking for a good story about infidelity. Ignore all the 1 ratings as those are just people who rage at the mere thought of NTR. This manga does not use infidelity as a cheap way to draw emotion out of readers. This isn't a story about people having sex behind their partner's backs, it's a story about the effects of infidelity on all of those involved.

I'm enjoying this manga because it show how deep is "Adultery" consequences can be. Plus for a almost yandere character which is insane crazy for someone who will do anything for her crush. It is a manga for you who is a newlyweds. Anyways, now that this manga has gone so far, i wonder how it will turn out for those 2.

Not a bad read

Overall, I'd say this is a pretty straightforward read. It has its ups and downs in this manga, somewhat predictable in its unfolding events, and can make readers hateful towards certain characters. But I'd say it is pretty successful if it has readers involved emotionally, right?

Art wise, it's pretty normal, nothing to brag about but it's pretty simple to convey messages. I love the body proportions, it seems about right. Not elongated or anything, because this manga isn't about's drama.

I'd say, give it a try. It's a good change from those always reading crappy love comedies or not-enough-drama dramatic reads.

The story is less about cheating per se than about being induced into cheating. Maybe that's why it starts by showing how "being induced by others into messing around is the ultimate excuse for opportunism". Plus, I hold that marriage (or anything else involving trust) is by design incompatible with opportunism. Too bad for the wife for marring such a hardcore opportunist.

The puppeteer sister idea is so disturbing that I'm dropping my hold just at the end of ch.36.

what's with the low rating? I think it deserve around 7 or above but what can we do, maybe reader have watch a lot of j-drama on TV about dysfunctional family drama and to think that this josei is exactly have the same feel as a everyday j-drama. But I love it, I think its really complex and we cant really expect what will happen next. To tell the truth I cry when Junpei leave his daughter and his wife. Its so heartbreaking and I'm sure it have a lot more to offer. Enjoy this manga please.

As the first reviewer said, _silent_ ... I'm just adding it up. Don't avoid this expecting a massacre, just let the story guide you. We're pampered by modern storytelling as the one telling us how to live, and telling us that in a way that everyone approves. When you take a fresh, cold look at it, are we truly doing it perfectly? And, heh, if someone sadly wants to tell some of his own ideas through taken-for-granted forms and channels, it gets booed away from the stage. I know it's harsh and you need to vent out, but find something more enjoyable then. However bad or good one story or its characters are, by our very own judgement, it's still a story, look out the window.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Rina is absolutely insane. Junpei is trying his very best to get himself and the family together then she says "Your future mom" to his daughter. Instead of apologizing to Azu she just added more fuel to the fire. What a creep.

The whole concept revolves around infidelity, and no one likes that, neither do I...... But

since they reconcile at some point, its OK, but I hate the women he cheated with, he told her it was over and she still clings to the possibility of getting back together even though she's married too.....but well, I hope it works and ends well with both sides, I dont want the marriages to break apart

At first, I thought it was a cheesy love story, but it's actually rather complex. In ways, the plot line is rather realistic with good character development. I guess that's why it's josei and not shoujo lol. I like it so far and I look forward to see how the story goes.

Best to read it objectively

So far I'm enjoying this manga. Yeah, it's about infidelity and no one likes to be the victim of it (and I guess no one likes reading about it too with all the low ratings). However, it happens in life, and so it's nice to read a manga that deals with what happens after: The difficulties of trusting a person again. Is it possible to forgive? Is the adulterer truly apologetic and regretful? Is there still love in the relationship anymore? The manga tries to deal with these questions and does so from the perspective of both parties, which is great. Often times these stories are only told from one perspective and we're either made to hate the other or go along with the feelings of the one whose heart was swayed.

All in all, it's best to read it objectively and hold off any judgement and see how the story unfolds. (And rate the manga not by your hate or love for the characters, but also how the story itself is told.)
