It’s surprising to see the uke who looks like a seme. I love his womanly side and the seme is just too adorable to him. Cute and sexy pairing! Another thumbs up!

...... There is absolutely no coherence. At all. I understand what's happening. It's not that hard. But a good story demands a flow, a narrative flow, character development, meditation, setting up of the atmosphere, attention to little details. This manga has none of it. If you want a Yakuza based yaoi manga then go read Koi made Hyakurin.

It was a nice read. Fine story with funny characters. Good looking hosts. Yakuza. Male wearing a black female kimono x) sexy yes yes!!
But i didnt like the flowers everywhere xDD

...except that Yuki is totally a little girl on the inside. He even says it himself after being rescued. Normally I don't think crybabies are hot, but Yuki's crying scene totally worked (I especially liked it on the drama CD, since they lengthened Rin and Ayumu's lovey-dovey scene and let it get to him).

As always, Akira delivers some tasty men on both sides of the relationship. Am I wrong for thinking Yuki is incredibly sexy in that kimono? No, I'm not because it's awesome.

I love the line about how women won't leave Sakaki alone- if I saw a guy like that, I'd probably throw myself at him too. His voice on the CD is beyond perfect, a nice, deep yakuza voice without sounding too rough. Where have I heard it before? Oh yeah, he's the voice of Asami Ryuuichi, too. <3

Shinohara Yukinari is a male escort at the host club ‘For Princess’. One night, while attempting to break up a fight between a colleague and hosts from a rival club, he attracts the attention of the intimidating yakuza boss, Sakaki. When Yukinari stands up to Sakaki, he impresses the older man with his courage, and a romance soon blossoms between them. But how can their taboo relationship survive when everyone around them is hell bent on breaking them apart?

One of the first things readers are likely to notice about Heart Strings is that Sakaki bears more than a passing resemblance to the underworld leader Asami Ryuuichi from the Finder series, right down to the slick backed hair and insouciantly-cocked cigarette. And Sakaki definitely conforms to the ‘criminal romantic lead’ archetype that seems to have developed in manga over recent years: classically handsome alpha male, reticent but suave, and just dangerous enough to send a chill up readers’ spines. Oh, and considerate enough not to jump Yukinari even when he’s laid out like a (concussed) man-meat buffet in his bed.

I love the characterization of both the uke and seme, especially the uke, Yuki - good looking man who is real man with guts. The seme, Sakaki is cool to, unlike the standard bastard seme despite being rich and powerful. Though more chapters would be better.

This collection was considerably better than Twin's Labyrinth, but you still need to read Twin's Labyrinth first to get the built upon relationships in this one.

The personality of the 'uke that acted like a seme' was developed with skill: He had a multi-dimensional personality. AND my favourite hairstyle - an long punk mullet!

Interweaving Rin and his little kitten gave this manga a cohesive and comprehensive sort of 'universe' feel. I like that quality in a manga. The symmetry of the scenes with the 2 separate couples doing similar bed tricks was neat.

As always, the art is wonderfully pretty while still being muscular, but a little too strong of a reliance on flowers to express intimacy!

I loved this story! I'm a big fan of Akira sensei. Her men are like real men!! The sex scenes are hot!! Uke was adorable and I liked the seme as well. I'm usually not a fan of Yakuza type guys but this was an expection.

It was funny was well. The part of becoming a Yakuza's wife had me laughing.
