This will forever go on my favorites list and then back off of it, over and over. Hahaha... It has some really great aspects and is very entertaining, but also has some pretty stupid and/or kind of offensive aspects as well. The art is REALLY lovely. Some of the best human forms in BL. The cover artwork is terrible in comparison.

As per usual with this author's characters are all bat**** crazy, but since both partners in the relationship are like that, I don't get too freaked out (it's an equal playing field and all).

It's a fun story to read if you don't mind frequent and uncensored sex. But the characters are intense too, and the main guys' relationship is interesting to read about.

I loved the fact that they were young and how they fell in love. Young people fall in love really fast and do last together their whole lives.

I also loved the part story of Yuji and Ryohei (the two adults), they were also really cute and sexy. How they got together was unexpected but that's how love works smile

I liked it.

This one is definitely not cut out for a rookie yaoi fan. It's more hardcore with constant graphic sex here and there. Usually that's not my cup of tea but considering the characters were so cute and the romance felt real, I continued reading it.

The art is great, if not a little too graphic for my tastes but I guess that would be ideal for a hardcore yaoi fan. But aside of being hardcore on the sex, the character's romance is really cute. Nothing really standoffish about the characters, they were you're basic Uke and Seme though the Seme is one of those that shows the emotions he feels for his Uke.

The last chapter was an extra and I could've gone without reading, wasn't that good in my opinion. Heartwarming, but lacking as a one-shot.

I think Ritsuro fell in love a little too quickly. Usually that tips me off but I still gave it a chance and it was an entertaining read. Nothing I find myself reading again anytime soon though.

Characters: 8/10
Art: 9/10
Plot: 8/10

Tender and Hard: All in One

Two horny teenagers and a ocean setting. You'd think it'd be all sex, but it isn't. The story has weight to it, even touching on serious issues like using condoms and getting tested--proof of one's love for the other--and gay prejudice to straight people. I don't usually like stories with promiscuity, but this one was just so bang on psychologically, I couldn't help but like these boys.

All the characters are believable, fallible and modern-day realistic. The last chapter of the surfing story that developed the relationship of the two adults had a 'thrown in' feel to it, but it was still okay.

The extra story of the doctor and cancer patient was hard, fast and fun.

She always presents an angle I've never thought of: for example, trying to surf when one is drunk is like raping the ocean by disrespecting nature.

As always, Sadahiro-sensei's art of illustration and words are both explicit and raw in sexuality and tender and touching in it's poetic beauty. I really liked the themed of the waves equivalenced to relationships and love carried through the whole story.

A great piece of Yaoi!!!!!

I love this kind of yaoi because...1. they are young teenage guys and look it(no baby faces here) 2. there is no non-con 3. no drugs forced on the uke and 4. the guys LOOK like guys no femine looking guys here! It a story of two guys getting together through their love of surfing and each other. In other words I loved it if you are a hard yaoi fan you HAVE to read this one. My only one gripe (it's very small) is that this Sadahiro decided not to make this couple "reversi"...she is one of the few mangaka to make reversi yaoi, but never the less an excellent piece of work!!!!!

It trundles along being distinctly average for the most part, but then something utterly hilarious just completely blindsides you (8 times out of 10, it's intentional). Ritsu says/thinks/does the funniest things sometimes. Also, extra points for Yuji being so darned cool (until Chapter 4).
