I think the premise of the manga is pretty stupid. Basically, the heroine is not exactly bright and the manga begins with her failing the entrance exam to the school she wanted to enrol in. She didn't have a back-up plan and so she didn't sit for another exam at the time. I have no idea how the education system runs in Japan but apparently you have to take individual exams to enrol in a school. She took the exams again but failed. However, her teacher tells her that she was able to get into a school that still had vacancies. Like I said, I really don't know how the system works in Japan but she got accepted into a really elite school. I know that I can't base it all on the first chapter but it's so illogical that I can't look past it. Don't elite schools have high standards and requirements? ._.
Aside from the inconsistency, the airheaded female lead is hard to follow as well. In addition to being a perpetual dumbass, she's superficial as heck. She joins the astronomy club because of a guy she liked. Okay, maybe people do make irrational decisions like that but she barely met the guy! She applied to the club a DAY after she met him. Again, pretty stupid. Personally, I also find it stupid how she wanted to get better grades not for herself but so that she can feel like less of a dumbass in front of her crush.
The only reason I'm reading this is because I'm running out of things to read and this is just a filler for time. At the very least, there appears to be instances where the mangaka tries to inject some humor so it isn't that bland.
