The first part about the series is story about a grandfather who after his death was revealed that he was having an affair for 40 years. He wrote it in a book (he was a writer) and since he died they looked through his things. The grandaughter, The FMC by her grandmother (the one that got screwed) was asked to see the woman he was having an affair with.

I mean, I think the idea was how people can fall in love but its not done well. I say that in the sense that author wants us to feel sympathy with the grandfather. Which fails. 1 chapter isn't enough to give you sympathy for the *bad guy*. In the end the series is pretty meh. It has some nice imagery though. 4/10

The 2nd part is better. The 2nd story is about a new couple that moves in with there daughter. So the main heroine goes to play with them. That is until you realize the mom is fucked up.... like hardcore bro.

After they have a Gal moment (involving a cat) she isn't allowed to talk to her new friend at all. So months pass and the house that the new couple moved in burns up but the daughter's body is no where to be found. Now the main heroine is living life until she see's the cat that she used to play with. She then starts chasing the cat in hopes of finding any clues about her childhood friend.

TLDR: Both are actually pretty average tbh. I guess i'll let it go with a 5/10 but honestly don't expect much. The 2nd part did a better job with pulling my heartstrings is all.

If all shoujo were like this then you wouldn't find people degrading it. We are usually presented with mediocre manga, and have become so used to it that we don't expect much. Sometimes i almost lose my faith. But, then I stumble upon manga like Tsuki to Mizuumi, and lo and behold, my faith is restored.

Both the stories are about family life. While reading the panels depicting the interactions between the famiy, I found myself inadvertently smiling and laughing. It's so very nostalgic. At the same time, both the stories are melancholic and have dark undertones. The relationships between the people evolve and grow within the short stories, and romance is just happens to be a part of it. I am sad that it ended so soon.

Lots of Asihara Hinako's works have been on my wish list for a long time. I am now placing them at the top of my wish list <3

They're realistic, which is one of its good points, and the plot captivates your mind even though there wasn't a lot of romance. It dwells more on the aspects of real life, of learning about the past of your parents and other family members. Both touch upon family element and suggests how things shouldn't be viewed only as they are on the surface. A good first impression. Will probably reread this in the future.

Lovely woven separate stories. Story 2 was the most touching for me, as well as it's well developed and was warmly executed. I had to go back to previous panels upon the discovery. This will be a very memorable shoujo manga. As for the art, I like sensei's style, not too sweet that would make one tooth aches like in modern shoujo manga nowadays but the chara designs are charming and captivating. Emotions are perfectly conveyed on their faces and actions.

They were both really good. However, the second story was by far my favorite. Nicely developed, and the first one was kind of bittersweet. I would hate to be in the grandma's and girls position, especially the grandma's.

the first story make me cry. its not tragic or anything, but the melancholic nature of the narration with the too real topic of infidelity wring out some tears out of me. the second story is beautiful too. the twist is quite surprising and the ending is nicely done. i really like the fact that there is no romance for romance sake, but just real and meaningful ties that bond the characters more strongly than some forced love.

recommended.

This manga, is amazing, it gives you so many emotions. You can feel you are next to the characters, even though it is a one-shot, you care for the characters and live through their stories.

I love this book so much, it's meaningful, like Ashihara Hinako's other works. Love them so much!
All good. Thumbs up for the artworks and the stories. The first story tells about true love although there isn't much romance for the main female character. The second story is good too, very well-developed!

You have to read all of Ashihara Hinako's books! ^o^

Love this book so much. Both oneshots are meaningful, moving, and well-written. The tone is sweet yet sad, realistic yet hopeful. I actually like the first oneshot better, it's a rather unconventional shoujo oneshot.

Ashihara sensei did it again! This was such a great book. I loved both stories and just wow. They were so wonderfully written! So so good. You MUST read it. The art was great too (it's been quite a while since I've read something by her and even then what I read from her were her older works so yeah her art sort of changed no?). Both stories leave you with a great feeling. It's so good (I keep saying that!).
