It doesn’t do anything special but for some reason you want to keep reading more. Understanding the relationships between all the characters to me just felt super realistic in a way. And in all honesty this is lowkey perfect, Ik it’s just a romcom which there are many others but not many do it like this. What separates this from others I feel like it’s the simplicity of things and does not over complicate things which I find that most rom coms do where they have this one particular issue and it’s literally focused on that one point and emphasizes it the extreme which to me I have seen to much of. This one and yahari ore no seishun romcom wo machigatteiru are ones I wish I didn’t finish reading cuz I lowkey feel empty now.
