I'm liking this one, it's simple and not that deep, really. But it's art is gorgeous and the story, even if not that complicated, it's kinda cute.
I think sometime people mistakes yaoi as smutty BL. Yeah, yaoi has explicit sex scenes, but that's not the only difference between shounen ai and yaoi.
Some yaoi mangas are smutty and explicit since the beginning, other one take a lot more time to develope the sex area of the story and there are a lot of other ones that most of the time doesn't seem even a BL hahaha Never read one of those? You read the updates thinking: "ok, let's start getting into the yaoi part" hahaha.

I was confused by the reviews so I went ahead and read it.
This is not by any means a story of cute start of a romantic relationship, however it is indeed a good story about manipulative desperate love and possessiveness. Not every love story starts with good terms or "proper" process, this one for example started by a series of manipulations, dishonesty and possessiveness.
I'm really glad I read it, it's a breath of fresh air showing a total different aspect of relationships and feelings and a unique character (Hideaki), even though I would've loved to see more of his background and what led to that behavior of his, being possessive yet insecure to the point of manipulation.
It was a shaky start of a love story between these two and their relationship will surely be hard but Tomo is apparently well aware of the struggles ahead given his knowledge of Hideaki's character.

Just lies and deceitfulness. I truly wasted my time with this crap

the characters need more development, tho. hideaki is the most "developed" character even tho there's no reason for why he has to act like a dick to tomo all the time. it was never explained that it was out of jealousy or spite or one of those things. a flashback to how he fell in love in the first place would have been nice. it's very obvious, however, that he's head over heels in love with tomo and his realization of this fact drives the little plot there is.

tomo is barely developed and his feelings for hideaki are never made completely clear. he seems to want to be with a girl just to be with one and have some affection and has those annoying "what are these feelings?" thoughts whenever hideaki does something dick-ish. it seems like he likes him...but for doing all those bad behaviors? meh.

my favorite part of this manga was tomo trying his best to support hideaki in his "relationship". that part was the sweetest and the highlight of the manga, and it should have been the central part of the plot. everything else is a mess, frankly.

If you think this is cute, you should have your head checked. The uke is possessive, manipulative af and a psychopath. The only good thing about this is the art and I'm sure most people like this because they're "hotties", otherwise, you'd be disgusted.

But well, a pretty face is enough to make an abusive relationship become a little "tease" and it's not like he's bad, he's just a "tsundere"... and the romanticizing and the euphemism go on and on.

I gave the first chapter a try and was immediately turned off, only to be tempted by the positive comments here to come back to the manga with a second try. That was not a wise decision. I don't know what's worst: the fact that both main characters are so unlikable I could hardly care about their story, or that their convoluted relationship was literally built on deceit and emotional manipulation, or the bizarre conversion of a hetero as straight as an arrow into a gay guy in the span of 2 chapters in the most nonsensical fashion.

When I read the first chapter I thought it was going to be the typical "guy who bullies the one he likes" (which I have grown to dislike because most of the time there's rape or some sort of mental abuse), but it made a 180 in the end and I actually really liked it.

The art is very nice and the sex scene was pretty realistic as far as yaoi sex goes.

I'm a little ashamed that I enjoyed this as much as I did. It was surprisingly cute though! The first few chapters made me think that I might drop it because some of the tropes were ones which I don't enjoy(interfering with girlfriends over and over, violent and abusive partner). However, I kept reading, and most of those kind of burst or have surprising ways which they are counteracted. This doesn't mean that it is without problems, but overall it was still pretty different. The emotional buildup is very good, and the relatioship ends up being fairly believable in the end.

i didnt expect much, but it got better and i totally adored them together!!!~~ i think it needs a continuation!!!~ the art was nice, uncensored, sexy smutty bits, the super hot Hideaki was lovable even if he was really selfish xD and Tomo was kind and cute, a really nice seme-kun~ he seemed weak but somehow it wasnt bad, i mean i dunno i loved how it ended and i WANT MORE!!~~ <3

I wanted Hideaki as seme so bad!!!! Tomo is just so much more uke!!! It started out so good and had me all hype up but then suddenly crushes my vibe. ;((( I still like it, but it would have been better if Hideaki was seme.
