"The Mermaid of the Back Alley" (Chapters 1 and 2)
Sigh. I was totally not expecting this to turn into a comedic, plotless romp. I like both comedy and melodrama, but don't promise one and deliver the other all of a sudden. It's like tasting sugar when you were expecting salt.

The beginning starts out awesome and full of non-con angst in the style of Okane ga Na = Lovely! I thought: "Oh boy! Keep this up and you'll get a 10 rating!" But instead of the ensuing angst and emotional duress that one believes needs to be addressed, we have . . . sudden adoration and fantasy comedy? No, no, no. It just felt all wrong in delivery and the characters became unlikeable and flat, as if the mangaka dismissed them and wanted to get rid of her intense story quickly with a flippant, silly ending.

The art followed suite: the beginning art was sexy, lush and detailed. The ending art was silly, scattery and rushed looking.

Chapter 3 through 6 are better. "Executive in the Night", "Assistant Professor Ogura's Love Lecture", "Night Joker", and "Resistance to a White Robe" all all lovely little sexy one shots that are illustrated beautifully and have great build up and follow through with sex scenes. These oneshots all never promise anything but plot compelling enough to make the sex scenes hot.

Okay, I downloaded this one by accident, I was searching for something completely different and I couldn' read more than two chapters because the premise is simply awful. The seme is too abusive and the uke is a hopeless silly dog who inspired me pitty. It's hard for me to detest something so much but this one made it.

what is with the mangas that one couple cheating by doing fellatio on someone else? its getting on my nerves. the uke is such a moron he doesn't even realize (supposedly) that its wrong to do this. even though he had already upset his boyfriend previously by getting close to the guy, and yet he seemed to think it was still okay to cheat. And even after he gets back with his boyfriend he still keeps getting close with the guy he cheated with. Its too bad it could have been a cute manga. Why is it that in these mangas whenever someone is cheated on they get mildly irritated then they just get back together easily. they excuse the uke actiosn since he supposedly is a dog turned into a human and seems to have the stupidity and morals of a dog. the seme is a moron too, its disgusting how can he kiss someone he just saw performing fellation on someone else? it turns my stomach just to think of it.
