I have read all 11 chapter available. I found the story pretty bland so far. maybe it would get interesting in later chapters. also mc's grown up student still acts like clingy and amateur pre-teen(who is 90+ year old in human years and 20 something in elven years).

Contrary to what mangaupdates says, there are 8 chapters translated so far and according to the current translator more to come, albeit slowly.

As for the story so far, yes it's another reincarnation story but the MC is not some loser Japanese NEET or overworked office worker but rather an old martial artist of a fictional land. While that doesn't make the character original per se (I can think of a couple other LNs with MCs who weren't complete losers in their original life.) it does improve my respect for them from the get go. What I also like is that while the MC is trying to hide his identity as a reincarnated badass from everyone, it is quickly exposed without any drama by his old rival from his previous life and said rival is hilariously smug about it. It's refreshing to see these two old souls bicker casually and the MC being able to just be himself at least when the two of them are alone.

Looking forward to more to come, just have to be patient about it.
