Medicore despite the fun concept

Skill of lure is a series about a loser like boy trying to not be mistaken for a pervert so he can finally get a girlfriend. So he is trained by a pickup artist and throughout the series he learns more and more skills to try and catch girls.
I mean the series is pretty funny. Especially the ones involving art style change amongst women are down right hillarious. But there is a lot of ugly humor involved as well which really just boils down to being kind of gross and unfunny. But generally speaking i think it was a pretty funny series.
Honestly though the series has of course great quality heroines. Most of the female cast are just gorgeous asthetically speaking as the most of the women are just basically the author's personal fantasy. The entire concept of the series is becoming confident and some what of a player yet at the same time when other people do it they come of as complete richards. Women are *safe* to be unlocked but its ok when the MC does because he has *good intentions*. Essentially part of this series is incredibly hypocritical.
I did like the whole getting the girl thing, becoming more confident thinking what to say etc. Some of the best moments in this series is being an utter savage at times. The main character rejecting a bitch, the heroine destroying other women due to jealousy. But these instead of being some edgy violent series its more of a subtle way and its done really well.
The romance is fine. You know get the girl thats way out of her league etc. Pretty straight forward stuff, the author didn't really pull anything interesting or unique.
There is more about this series its just not all that great. I liked some parts of the series and hot chicks are always a plus. But my issue that the heroines don't have any depth and it pulls so many half assed tropes. Like villains has sad backstory and its inserted so lazily. Other times where when the bad guy gets beaten becomes the good guy. Kare kano did a much better for making the bullies retain there personality while becoming over time much more interesting likable characters.
TLDR: Medicore despite the fun concept. 5/10

This is more a Manga/Manhwa than a Webtoon, totally worth it!!!

Believe me, this didn't even feel like a webtoon. It's not like you are readind those stripes, this webtoon has panels which it takes full advantage of it by being similar to a manga/manhwa.
This was one of the most interesting webtoons I have ever read, the story didn't drag until it exhausts it's popularity(Like Tower of God) than ends, like many webtoons do.
What I really liked the most is how realistic the story feels, for example:
I'm giving it a 10 out of enjoyment, but this could have been really perfect if there was actually a more complex plot, cause we don't really get to know the MC and some of other important characters background for instance, but still I'm just being greedy xD
If you want a fresh take on shounen romance than this will be totally worth it for you. You don't like webtoons for some reason? No problem it won't feel like one here, this just for being different than the standard you'll enjoy it.

the females characters aren't put on a pedestal and are not pure saints like other shounen romance mangas portray them, which is rare! Hell there was even a scene where the main girl accidentally farts because she had diarrhea... it's something I have never seen in a romance manga! Or the time she sneezes and a snot comes out. I'm not saying she is dirty or something, on the contrary she's considered a beauty, they only have their circumstances just like man do. It's just like the Senpai said "You are only perfect because people around think you are perfect or cause you make up a front". In here they feel more human than in other romances where a reader gets the impression that the girls are perfect and sh*t roses or something.

Pick-up Artist (PUA) skills maybe the anchor, yet this manga is so much more. Like what Hwang Jae-oppa said, "a knife in the hands of a murderer is different from a knife in the hands of a chef". The MC will use the PUA skills to chase after the 1 girl he likes. It's surprisingly romantic.
The summary and first 3 chapters are really misleading! The series focuses on character growth and learning to improve one's self at relationships. The ecchi stuff is more of icing on the cake for fan service. I suggest reading up to chapter 4 to 7 before you judge it.
Also, the PUA and psychological techniques shown are useful in all kinds of social situations. You can use them to deepen relationships, make someone happy, and challenge yourself to be more. Even though this seems targeted to men, my fellow ladies can take notes too!

Synopsis doesn't do this story justice

The synopsis for this manhwa is just baloney. I avoided this manhwa for a long time because I thought it was just shallow fanservice starring a couple of PUA's, but when I finally did take a look at it what I found instead was a funny and sometimes sweet story about a guy trying to win the girl of his dreams.
The art is great, the faces especially... sometimes they are used for comedic effect and are amazing. The story is light with a few twists and overall very funny. And while a couple of sub plots feel under developed, the main storyline is tight with no filler and leads to an extremely satisfying conclusion.
To be very clear, this manga isn't about going out and randomly picking up girls. The protaganist uses the lessons from his senior to overcome his own social anxiety and to woo the target of his affection. This not a porn manhwa, it's a love story told with humor and some good dating advice.

Amazing art, some pannels made me stop my reading and just observe them, very enjoyable to look at. Laugh out loud scenes. The protagonist is a useless washed up guy at first, but he actually improves so it will not be one of those annoying manga. The second protagonist is such a funny oddball haha. The girls are just stunning. Reccommend for a fun non heavy read, you can use it to cleanse your eyes and manga palette.
Great read

Really surprised this series has such a low amount of votes and comments, but I guess it's a given. I initially avoided it due to the title and the picture I saw on a site (the two dudes on the couch with 4 chicks from chapter 1), so I assumed it would include NTR and stuff. How wrong I was not to give it a chance!
My biggest regret is that it only has 36 chapters. The pacing is fluid and fast, the art is gorgeous for both males and females, with the occasional weirded out faces and twisted body positions (which suits the humorous tone) and the story at some parts melt you like sugar, while at the other it's hilarious. The ecchi part is so well placed within the story that anyone is gonna have trouble attributing it to fanservice.
If you enjoy a straightforward romantic comedy with no NTR, no harem and no out-of-the-ass twists, this is for you. If you're not sure about your preferences, give it a go never the less. I just binged it and gave it a 9, but I'm pretty sure I'll have to reread it and update my score to 10 soon, depending on how it stays in my memory.

One word: nice!!!
It contains educative "how-to" tips for all of us, wrapped with good plot n hilarious character.
The story itself is a fast paced one, as it complement the educative information, but I personally hope that it can be slower... so that we can enjoy the story longer n can relate the character predicament longer. I mean, at least make it the character growth not happen as quick as that.
The art is nice too... simple but nice.
I hope it won't end soon (given how limited the number of 'how to' tips are). Hope u all will enjoy (n learn) this series... especially for the unpopular guys... ;9

Very fun read... a lot of this stuff works "in the wild".
But it only shows you WHAT works and not WHY.
Still, really funny

Hoo...Found something fun to read...
So, simply this is a story about a AFC, who wants to be a PUA...he met an incredible PUA...now, he is a rAFC...
There are many things to learn from it, not just to get girls...but, to have some practical use in any situation!!
