I really wish it was longer, the mangaka could easily have written many more chapters without ruining it because it feels like there could be so much more to tell. Plus…I really wanted to see them kiss… :'(
But still one of my absolute favorites!

it's really good! I'm a fan of Kyousuke Motomi myself and this is one of the works that got me hooked up! the humor is great, it has the kind of humor sometimes seen in Dengeki Daisy that is very Motomi-like.
This could be even greater if it was a little longer, so the secondary characters could develop more seeing as the club members are all very different from one another.

all in all it's a great read and I recommend it.

OMGILI!! This was really cuteTthough Motomi sensei's works tend to be short they're always good. The characters were cute and so was the story. This is actually one of those stories that I wish was just a little bit longer :-)

I've always put off reading anything by Motomi Kyousuke because I really didn't like the art style (really wide faces, funny mouth/nose proportions, etc.), but when I finally picked this up, it made me regret not having tried it sooner. It's awesome!

The story revolves around Oikawa Ibuki, a very "manly" girl who's determined to pass herself off as girly so that she can find a guy even manlier than she is. I'm not sure why so many commenters here mentioned "solving mysteries" around the school, because that's hardly the point here. What it's really about is the situations Ibuki gets into with the school council/beads club, partly due to the strange jobs they take up and partly due to her quest for a manly boyfriend. It's a great deal of fun, but this isn't something you can expect an amazing plot from in the first place.

Considering the main story is only composed of 3 chapters and an extra, the relationship between the main leads are reasonably well-developed. Usually I wince whenever authors add extra chapters about the couple after they've gotten together (because this almost always signals contrived misunderstandings and jealous fits), but it was used really nicely here to show how well Ibuki and Takumi understand each other. There isn't much in terms of individual character growth, but again, this story is just plain hilarious and goofy. What is there definitely works, and that's enough for me. The supporting characters are mostly even crazier than Ibuki and Takumi - it would've been fun if we got to know them better. Ah, well!

The oneshot was cute, but unremarkable - romantics might be a little annoyed that it was more about the girl forgiving (and helping!) her cheating ex than her developing interest in her childhood friend. All in all, a really entertaining one-volume manga! Enjoy it as a wacky story with weird and unique characters and don't take it too seriously.

Oh man, this could have been such a good story...
But in the end it just doesn't deliver the goods properly and it ends way too fast.
Just when it gets good then i'm presented with 2 inconsequential chapters that definately end the manga. How am i supposed to feel after this?
I got pass the fact that some of the characters are just way too weird and really enjoyed the mystery solving and saving, but then it's over. And it's a shame because the series could easily revolve around that and it would be very enjoyable.
Oh well.

i read this right after "dengeki daisy", and i wish i hadn't, because it comes nowhere close to that fantastic manga, and it really suffers from the immediate comparison. the best thing about it is the protagonist, who is once again an unusual girl. there are also a few other ideas i like, but overall it's just too short and too simplistic to be enjoyable after reading something really outstanding. i give it a higher rating than i normally would because i think i might be unfair to it because of the comparison, and because it's at least a little original in its concept even though the execution isn't.

I like almost all the work this mangaka did!
I totally dig the exaggeration the characters has! Its just hillarious!
The story is cute as always. Recommended for leisure read, nothing too touching but really gives you a laugh =D

i love this manga. it's funny and romantic as well. too bad it's so short. i highly recommend it. oh, the lead male reminds me so much of Kurosaki in Dengeki Daisy. hehehe. well, they have the same author so maybe that's why. ^_^

This was a quick but fun little manga. I did find some of the art lacking but on the whole the story was energetic and just right for the tight fit of a shoujo.
