Description
In order to take care of his younger brother, Nozomi runs the Gattendou (sort of a jack of all trades) convenient store. For his most recent job he'll be acting as the body double for a yakuza's son, therefore he'll be protected closely by a bodyguard. But the bodyguard, Kusaka Yamato, fervently pursues him all while claiming he loves Nozomi. Nozomi has always earned a living himself for his and his brothers sake, but perhaps it wouldnt be so bad to rely on others every so often.

Ok so I have already read this manga once before, but is seems that I have completely forgotten about it so I decide to read it again. It was going so so until I reach chapter 2 and come upon this line:
"The rape cases that he's responsible for, aren't the main point, because the criminal act wasn't big"
Really?
Mrs. FUJII Mitori, whoever thinks that rape isn't a "big" criminal act has a serious problem with their perception.
Really that just pissed me off so I stopped reading it. The guy rapes teenagers but that's not the problem, noooo the drugs are the problem.
Yes, Yaoi manga are full of rape themes and their gravity are toned down like it's nothing, but this is different, this is a statement made by a character(a supposedly "good" character), that's why it made me angry.
*stomps off*

I like the comedy aspect of this and the denial the main character is going through whilst at the same time totally giving in XD so amusing. Anyway, not a particularly strong story, or that original either, but its entertaining and a nice mild read. Each chapter is a short story with the characters and setting the same, so it does come across as a bit abrupt sometimes, but otherwise not too bad. Art was pretty decent, not entirely the same style as the cover art but pretty close. Overall so far not a bad read but not really memorable either

[up to chapter 4] i didn't have trouble following it either, but yeah, it's not well told. it's easy on the eyes but alas very shallow -- typical BL story; not very believable, 2-dimensional characters. the sex isn't all that great either; we go from kissing to penetration in 4 panels, if you blink they're done already. it does pick up a little meaningful dialogue in chapter 4, so who knows, once it's all scanlated i might revise my opinion; i don't know how much more there is.

also, since there are no culture notes, somebody want to explain why "gatten" and not "gatsu"? that does look like a small つ in the furigana, but "gatsu douten matsuki" actually translates to something recognizable, while i can't make head or tail of "gattendou tenmatsuki". i must be missing something like a pun; would appreciate PM.

It does jump around a lot but I didnt find it hard to follow. Just pay attention and you should be fine. At the same time I didnt think it was a good story in general. Love the art, the plot...meh.

Very choppy

Although I read only one chapter, I can't make heads or tails of this story.

Fuji's art might be easy on the eye, but her storytelling skills suck. There's no natural sense of time with the story flow. It tends to jump to next step of the story without explanation and expectation. There's an assumption you'd know what's going on, never mind it hasn't explained in the first place.

It's just... urgh! The premise is a bit far-fetched, but hey what isn't in mangaland? It's too choppy, incoherent and too shallow to enjoy this. Perhaps it'll improve later on.
