i began to ignore any story the author was constructing after the few few chapters since the author couldn't seem to decide what type of story they wanted to make. the tonal shifts were wild and the dialogue was often unclear so i stopped paying attention after a bit and only focused on the sexy parts lol. there were often times where I felt that there was context missing that I needed in order to understand the story and characters better but didn't get it. when the plot began to get melodramatic in the end I entirely ignored it and the fake stakes put there since I figured the mangaka would solve it all by the end.
the sex was drawn nicely tho. this mangaka really didn't need an involved plot at all with all that backstory (i was skipping those pages lol). she could have made a simple slice of life and it would have turned out clearer and more satisfying.
i also thought the weird relationship the main had with the brother was strange for the manga...but I also ignored how it fit in the story and thought that was kinda hot too haha. i was actually hoping a bit for more action between them since it was drawn pretty nicely lol. oh well.

I agree with the other reviews here that the mangaka could go further with a bit of improvement. That being said, I think what Ms. Chishanomi's got going here is pretty good in that it's a solid foundation. She alternates between a harder, sketchier style and a softer, watercolor-like style, both being equally pretty, and the writing is secure with a proper plot and likable characters with both bad and good traits. The only aspect that really detracted from the story was the sudden shifts from serious scenes to unnecessary comedy. If Ms. Chishanomi can figure out how to effectively divide the comedic scenes from the serious scenes, she'll have a wonderful piece.
A novice's attempt at best

I like the idea of the story in theory and how it could have turned into a one-of-a-kind gem. Unfortunately the mangaka just hasn't gained enough expertise to properly execute it and bring out its full potential.
There's a large number of transition cuts in space and time in the manga that frankly don't make a lot of sense to me, a result of poor story-telling skill in this form of medium, and the reading experience naturally loses a steady rhythm and flow to it. There's been more than one instance where I have to go back a few pages to make assumptions and fill up the holes I stumble on during my read.
Meanwhile, the characters aren't exactly well developed, another setback from the ineffective use of flashbacks, so oftentimes their actions to move the plot forward don't quite agree with how they've been portrayed so far in the story. Other times they go completely bonkers and full on sociopath-mode out of no where and the audience can't catch up to the sudden shift in atmosphere even for a moment because right afterwards they're then slapped with comedic relief so blatant and off-putting that all that dramatic crap just panels ago can no longer be taken seriously anymore. Yes I'm talking about that last chapter in case I didn't make myself clear enough.
Also, whlie I do like the style of the artwork and its aesthetic, there's plenty of room for the mangaka to improve, particularly on her characters' facial expressions as well as on constructing spacial transition in order to maintain an adequate level of comprehension. The sketchy style is not terribly helpful either in clearing up confusion in such a story.
Overall I think there're both strengths and weaknesses that can be addressed here. I do hope that future attempts from the author will be rewarded with better finesse in execution in the final results.

I liked it. Nice idea with the whole deer thing. Sure, some parts were lacking, like for example the plot (was a bit confusing sometimes) and the art (too sketchy). But I enjoyed it all the same. The plot had potential to be better if more chapters were added, so the progress wouldn't be so confusingly rushed.

This is one of the better cutesy yaoi out there, with not much flaws and many good points.
Good Points: Art is gorgeous, proportions are normal enough, story is cute with a somewhat unique setup and the execution is nearly flawless....Nearly.
Bad Point 1: There's a really weird scene that I can't for the life of me logically reason away even after suspending my belief for what can be expected from a yaoi. Basically the main character Sousuke
Bad Point 2: Sousuke is a bonafide tsundere. Tragic back story, selfish, self loathing, violent outbursts with just enough sweetness to draw in the victim, aka seme. Your enjoyment of this story depends on how you feel about these types of characters. He has a typical backstory-
Tldr; It's a good overall read but beware of tsundere main character

It's freakin weird. I've seen scenes like this in psychological yaoi where it's given context and yaoi where Spoiler (mouse over to view)

is the flavor of the day. Here not only does the uke think it's completely normal, it's not even treated as a weird thing to do by the seme. He never blinks twice at the person the act was with. It's treated as a comedic event. Really weird.Bad Point 2: Sousuke is a bonafide tsundere. he was abandoned at a young age so naturally he feels like trash. All the love and attention he receives makes his guilt go through the roof and his gratitude go through the ground.
I don't hate these types of characters, in fact if they're done right they can be really fascinating. Wagamama Romeo was one of the first manga that showed me the joy of tsunderes and how they can be lovable even with their horrible attitudes. This one hit a lower middle ground with me. There were many times where I just wanted to slap him, and times where I just wanted to hug him. Most of the time, I just wanted to slap him. People who are easily sympathetic may disagree with me strongly, but I think that's just what makes people feel so differently about Tsundere. Everyone has different levels of tolerance for bull. Tldr; It's a good overall read but beware of tsundere main character

The story progressed smoothly up until the 5th chapter, then in chapter 6 a bunch of pages were filled with just the uke acting up and having suicidical ideas and then somehow his goofy seme said some really wise and touching stuff and then they had a happy ending. That really didn't sit well with me since the story turned suddenly dark and then it quickly changed back to a light-hearted theme so that some things didn't really make sense anymore. The art is really beautiful, nevertheless.
