I have only read a couple chapters, but this is a rough summary of the manga:
Ao is a plain girl who defines herself as a "supporting character" in life, in contrast to her perfect best friend, who definitely would be the "heroine". And everyone knows that supporting characters never get the guy. However, when a hot ikemen moves in next door and turns out to be Ao's classmate, the supporting character might get her own love story after all?!?!
