but it seems extremely similar to the anime anohana, except for a few small differences, but the basic plot seems to be the same. There's a group of friends who used to be really close as children but one day a friend of theirs gets into an accident. Then a ghost or apparition of said friend appears in front of the male lead who is probably going to bring the distancing friends back together again with her help.

Really, there's nothing here that is new in respect to that anime. The basic plot is almost identical, to the point that we have the same cast (3 girls and 3 boys), and even some of the same relationships. The only difference is that this one has a slightly less tragic premise. Possibly the author wanted to bring it to something different, but we'll never know because it feels like it didn't get the hoped mileage. The result is a confusing manga that doesn't really know what to tell the readers. At least it feels a bit less angsty than the anime it was clearly inspired by.
