ok.... as someone in the midst of my youth i love stories like this. theyre 14.. only 2 years younger than me, but like, that feels like a baby to me already. and the concept of watching porn with your friend.. i cant comprehend that. do people really do this?
this manga had sort of a.. dreamy feeling to it? like.. a simple and nostalgic world.. i can't seem find the right words to describe it. as someone else on here said, the artwork reminds me a bit of things by kii kanna, and it has a similar overall feeling.. of like, a true "slice of life."
it resonates with me as someone of a similar age.. it feels nostalgic as i said before, fills me with a bit of longing. i'm already too old to see the world as these characters do. i feel too sad and guarded to be able to have a free kind of romance like that. i don't know. i'm a lesbian and realized a few years ago, but it took a lot for me to be able to even say that in a review that no one will even read. i guess becoming comfortable with yourself is just a process, like everything in life.
so yeah, that's another point i can relate to here.
whenever theres some kind of "student has a crush on teacher" type deal in a story, i'm always immediately wary. thankfully this manga handled it pretty well.
overall this was a solid coming of age type story that overflows with youth and warmth.

This work is what I would include in my list of "Essential Manga to Read". This is one of those lovely series that leave you SHOOK. It’s one of those series which make you wish that you owned a digital copy of this. That its hard-copies would rain from the sky for 10 days with no end. It’s one of those series to which you turn to in your moments of sadness and doubt, of hurt and pain, to heal yourself. To feel believe. To be whole, once more. It’s pure love.

I thought this was quite a compelling story handled with care and sensitive touches on the subject of bolsterous youth and the spontaneity that comes with it. Coming-of-age mangas often strike a nerve with most readers and this one for sure will leave you with both the hopefulness and bittersweetness anyone will experience as they grow up. I'd also like to comment on the mangaka's art and stylistic choices, they somehow remind me of Hayakawa Nojiko and to a lesser extent Kii Kanna, so you know she must've got an eye for composition and a very recognisable style of her own. I'm definitely intrigued.
