From Hero Scans:

Amane is a young boy living with his mother in a small village. He has always believed himself to be normal, but he has a power that nobody else has. Should he touch a person or animal with his bare hands, he is able to hear their inner voice. Once his friends discover this power, they spread vicious rumours about his monstrousness, forcing his mother to flee with him into the forest. Despite holding onto the hope of a cure, after many years his powers remain strong, and his mother’s health starts to deteriorate….

Work on Storyboard Needed

The art is absolutely fabulous. Sometimes the sheer effort that is put into a certain thing will allow me to love it more than I would have otherwise, not that’s not because I dislike it, but simply because the impetuous to do so is not there. This is one of those times. I am kind of bothered by the mother thing and the whole village bit, but I also know that it has been historically true where such cases have taken place. Additionally, the chibis and the extra was just lovely.
Honestly, the cover just screams rape and slavery because that’s the kind of meaning I am conditioned to associate with this however, it was quite a delightful surprise to find that this was one of the most sweetest things that I have read. Definitely, there’s need to do work on the story board. Especially, the love making scene needs to be more consistent in terms of dialogue. I personally think that the author, given the overall atmosphere of the manga, wanted to draw a sweet and gentle scene. However, given the trash that is out there I think the author might have been influenced by that and so there were dialogues such as, “I can’t hold myself back anymore” or “I won’t be responsible for what happens” but the actions would be gentle and caring and in the very next panel there would be phrases such as “let me know if it hurts I will stop” or “are you fine with me doing it?”
I don’t think there is a need to work on the art that much, I love it, but then what do I know?

I agree. Good idea, bad execution.

The beginning was interesting and I expected something out of this world but unfortunately the story turned out to be average and quite predictable. An average story, with a hint of supernatural. The art isn't bad but it's not awesome either (Kisaragi looks hot but Amane looks plain, not cute or sexy, a main character shouldn't look boring).

Well, it's not a bad story, you can read it as a time killer, it's just sad that the idea for the story and characters was really good and it could've been a wonderful manga if sensei made a few things differently (more background for Kisaragi, better face for Amane, less corny lines about love and a serious, bloody punishment falling on the village would save it). I hope sensei will get better in storytelling and creating deep, interesting characters.

A shame

Aaa I was so intrigued by the premise at the beginning only to be let down at the end. I get that the mangaka is a rookie and this is her debut work and all, and she does have potential mind you, but she still has a long way to go to break away from all the cheesy and corny stuff and to deliver some real substance in her story. The plot actually isn't too shabby, but it's the execution that rendered it quite childish and cliched unfortunately. It became far too simple and shallow for my liking.
But hey, at least I love the wolf - he's really cute and well drawn and easily the most interesting character for me, ironically.
