Story:
The quality of the stories are as varies as the authors themselves. Out of eleven stories, I like six of them, with the highlight being Natsume Ono's Goodby Cigarette.

The second volume obviously have more good stuff than the first. I guess it just to be expected since most of the experience storytellers are cramped together in the second volume.

I think if they evenly mix the known and less-known authors between both volumes then it will be a more interesting anthology.

Art:
The art also varies greatly between each authors. Some present a highly detailed artwork, while some other prefer a much simplistic approach in their art style.

I don't really have a high standard when it comes to art for manga. As long as they get the anatomy and perspective right, then all is well for me.

But for this manga, I do have a favorite. And that is Long Piece by Yasuo Ohtagaki. The reason why I like it is because how cinematic it feels and because of the way the author tells the story & emotions through the art alone sometimes.

Conclusion:
It's a decent anthology. If you want to burn an hour of your time by reading some short manga, then give this one a try.
