So I'm reading this mainly because of Honoka ni Purple's extra story. It's really interesting and awesome to be able to read the hero's side of story and his thoughts of how he misses his gf so much. Lovely indeed! And for the main story....well....it was...weird. Kinda retarded actually. I've read the other prequel and it was.../sigh. Let's not talk about that.:/
The real gem of this collection is the one shot extra story for Honoka ni Purple, but that really depends a ton on how much you like that series in the first place. If you enjoyed Honoka ni Purple, then you definitely should read this one [even if just for the extra story.]
Although the title story is a direct squeal to the title story of Aru Hi, Knight ni Attanara, I don't think it is anywhere nearly as good as its prequel. It does continues things from where the first one left off so should be read in order.
The two remaining stories are stronger than the chapter 3 & 4 stories in Aru...., which balances things out for me in the sense that I felt that the overall numerical rating should be the same.

the fact that u don't like short stories doesn't make a short story worth a bad mark. the art is sweet and as a short story i think it did pretty well with the plot and all, especially if u're a fan of fairytales and those kind of romances. yes it would have been better off as a longer manga but oh well...read and enjoy
