My dick is hard and my honor is tarnished
Hideyoshico-sensei reminds me very much, in terms of art, plot, characterization and serilization (the years it takes to publish a full story), of ANIYA Yuiji. And so I am always expecting the unexpected, or the mundane without being cliched.
This time I have to say sensei has definitely improved in terms of coherence and consistency of the story as compared to her work of Kanemochi-kun to Binbou-kun, the characterizations are as strong as ever, and the art is lovely. And tho I hesitate to actually call this a "cute and sweet" story, but what the heck? Both Yoshino and Hajime are happy (I hope!).
TBH, I do feel a bit sad that I don't get to see Yoshino grow even more which just leaves me feelings that somethings amiss from the story.
Lastly, the cover is an excellent illustration of their relationship.

You know those treats you keep on the top shelf of your cupboard to prevent yourself from hastily munching them off because you know they're made of bad things for you and in theory you should never touch them? This manga is exactly one of those guilty pleasures. You're aware of its problematic nature and how morally wrong it sounds, but at the same time it tastes so delightfully sweet that you can't help but give in to the temptation. The mangaka transformed such a toxic topic into a very believable story and I'm sure I'm not the only one shamefully enjoying it. It's very sexy without being too graphic; there's enough hidden away to evoke imagination which is really the best method to achieve the intended result. For a fetish manga this one is definitely among the best of the best.
I was entertained by it and had a great time reading it. I really liked it and it inspired me to look more into stalker bl ^-^ The story felt fresh, characters were likeable and seeing their positions develop throughout the story was great and left me wanting more.
The "collection" is centered around those two. There aren't any other stories, but maybe there should've been.

The stalker, Yoshino, comes from money and doesn't work. He's a useless, unproductive member of society and a former bully who fell in love with one of his targets. Hajime, the guy who was bullied, is a pretty ordinary guy. At 25, he's still a virgin and can't let go of the past, which is being tormented at school. Quite realistic, I suppose. One of the things I did like, is that he didn't give in right away, or even till the very last chapter pretty much. But their relationship didn't satisfy me, and I don't mean the lack of sex. Somehow there was no direction to the story, no other characters to fill the dead gaps between their meetings. Their story could've, and I feel should've been condensed into much fewer chapters.
It's not the unlikeability of the characters that bothers me, it's them being not very interesting.
Their s&m proclivities were only touched upon and not explored at all, while they both clearly enjoyed the role reversal. I dunno. It was a miss for me, from a mangaka I usually enjoy.
