Don't be mistaken by the category. Though there are some gory scenes, it isn't much of a 'horror' if you ask me. 'Mystery' is well fitted though.

I was moved by the story of Princess Maileen, and how she died because she was serious about a prince that was using her. How every time a traveler walks by the tower, she kept hoping that it's the prince coming to save her.

It's good, but isn't the best. I attempted to read this before, but always stop when I finish the THIRD PAGE (not third chapter, people ;D). But I gave it a chance yesterday (late at night), and I'm glad I did.

well, he's not very typical,
but the twist on Grimm's fairy tails was an added bonus.
a little dark at times, but the comedic relief lightened it up a bit.
a lot lighter than yuki kaori-sama's other works.

Comedy w/ a touch of romance, Ludwig Kakumei is a crazy twist from your sappy fairytales. An awesome refresher after too many cliche shoujo mangas.

My favorite series by Kaori Yuki... Art is beautiful. Some dark moments, but generally not as dark as most of her other works. The adaptations of the Brothers Grimm's stories are amazing. Storyline is very interesting, although it does get a little weak in volume 4. The ending is awesome though!

i love this manga so much ludwig is such a bishonen and the whole story is funny! (and it works cuz i only like sleeping beauty and i hate Snow white) worked out 4 me!

this is the first shojo i read that i actually like it was very interesting. each of the character had a person( well the mostly consist of sadist and machoist). it had everything i like horror,comedy.fantsay all in one and it done right.plus it didnt last long just like those other shojo manga for no reason.

But it's just so Kaori-like, hate the whole world because no-one really love you, kids definitely should not read this, it'll ruin their innocent dream, lol

A really awesome manga. the plot is twisted not like any other mangas that i read. it is really interesting about the twisted fairy tales. loved the ending and i was wishing for more chapters to read.

Kaori Yuki, even with lighthearted series such as this one, can spin it into a brilliant story, worth reading. The art is as always top notch. And it adds an interesting twirl to typical fairy tales. Good job as always, Kaori Yuki.

I wouldn't have given it a 8 if it didn't appeal, did I? Really enjoyed the series and art, just complaining about the lack of this manga and the slow progress.
