There are some cool ideas in this but they’re executed in odd ways. One of the stories the girl has a voice fetish, and the guy demeans her but it’s okay because she likes his voice and he only does it to “hide his feelings”. The first story had me giggling cause everything is super sexualized like it’s supposed to be really hot, but the guy is just skeevy. Each female character is a masochist and is in love with the guy so all scummy behavior is excused. Normal for this genre but I wanted to point these things out because a lot of people were praising the collection or calling it wholesome.

The 8th story was fine, the others were standard smut. The men are pretty but no focus is ever put on them. There are many good things sprinkled in that made it seem like the stories were going to be good but they ultimately felt off.

Really hate to give this a low rating, I check in on this authors work sometimes cause they actually care to draw unconventionally(?) attractive men, which is rare outside BL. Can’t even blame the author, they’re just trying to write what sells and this clearly still sells.
