Not bad

Meh, I still like it for the most part. Not necessarily outstanding but it's certainly not as bad as the impression I got from previous comments below. The story doesn't delve too much on the psychology aspect and more on the romance, which is fine with the execution that the author went for imo. I'm also not bothered by the art that much; it has enough emotional input for me to overlook some minor flaws.
______________
Btw, I'd like to counter-argue that this is pretty much the opposite of Mou Ichido, Nando Demo.. Amnesia is the only thing these two titles have in common, everything else in between is as different as could be.
Mou Ichido went for comedy and smut, while the drama was just strutting along at first and naturally came out to the forefront later. This manga headed straight into heavy emotions and heartbreaks and sad revelations right away, and eventually worked its way into a more hopeful and optimistic view of the future by the end.
The amnesia trope also played different roles in each: for Mou Ichidou, it was to reaffirm the already strong bonds between the main characters (they were at the peak of happiness before the mishap striked), while in this one, it happened to give the characters a second chance to fix their cracking relationship (the huge fight was the cause of the accident).
Here, Sakai's negative mental thinking was the biggest obstacle in his romance and he needed to get over his insecurities if he seriously wanted to keep the relationship. Hence the role of the amnesia and temporary separation as healing glue. Meanwhile, the couple in Mou Ichido was experiencing too much smooth sailing, and the memory loss was a test, or a hurdle they needed to overcome to strengthen their love ultimately. Its role is completely different. Not as the remedy, but the virus.

Lovely little story! Adorable and cute! XD Highly recommend that you read this if you're in the mood for something sweet.
I would have loved to have this made longer but it was still really good. Nice build up on romance. XD

usually amnesia is played for bad drama, but here it's the central plot. It's a very basic manga and I feel like it went along its course a little too quickly for my liking. Some of the drama could have taken its time and there was a ripe opportunity for sexual tension, but it could be my memory of the classic Mou Ichido tainting my bias. In the end, the manga is inoffensive and heart-rending. I love reading about lovers reaffirming their feelings or falling back in love, it's so soapy but so good!
I agree with OmNom in that although the manga uses amnesia like Mou Ichido does, the amnesia serves completely different purposes for the plots in each story and relationship dynamic. Shizuka verrryyyyy quickly falls back in love with Sakai. Instead of the conflict revolving around Shizuka, the person with amnesia, the conflict revolves around Sakai, the person dealing with the fallout.

The art was great, the portrayal of the characters were good (but it could be better). Still, Sakai's portrayal was idk, lacking? As much as he felt the need to break up with Ono, I still see him as a selfless brat, as he seemed to have good intentions but has different approach. But all in all, it was great and I looove how affectionate the seme is~
Update after a yr: wtf?? Everything is great and pure?? What was I shitting out back then?? But ya I love the story and it has its downs, but all in all is great~

I love the art style and the plot was catching.
this is about pure love, pure characters and with a happy ending BUT no, cause first they need to suffer a little.

I agree, this one reminded me of Mou ichido, but at the same time it still felt refreshing! The seme was perfect, they were perfect so what kept me reading was "what went wrong?" And yes it was kinda cliché, but it even so the story is great, the characters were great and it was all full of sugar, loved it!

A better version with the same premise is Mou Ichido, Nando Demo.. Not only is the art much, much more better (and the smut too), but also narrative and story telling wise it is much more coherent and well done.
Here the characters are too bulky, take up too much space on the pages, shallow (especially Sakai), and the story-line gets confusing as it never becomes clear how much does Shizuka remembers.

Pretty cute but agreed with the other reviewers about Mou Ichido, Nando Demo. But honestly I don't fault sensei for trying, it's hard to compare to the queen that is Aniya Yuiji.
Just another bland cliche

By the 14th page of the second chapter, you'll already know how the melodrama will play out. The premise is cliche and has nothing new or interesting to make it a good cliche. The conflict is so forced and rushed that you don't have time to emotionally invest in these character for it to have any meaning.
Doushitemo Furetakunai did the whole "I can't have a kid" thing much better.
