It's a shame the good art was wasted on such a mediocre story. The "tough-looking-but-fragile sex worker is saved" plot isn't new, and despite the characters being somewhat interesting, the ending is still predictable and cliché. I don't see much chemistry between Akira and Tsubame, and it's even more disappointing how Akira learns about Tsubame's circumstances from Touma (a character who, frankly, didn't need to exist) instead of from Tsubame himself, and yet the ending has them thinking of a future together despite barely knowing each other. Meh.
