For the most part, that is.
Koi to Utatane leans pretty hard into the "shounen" and "slice-of-life" aspects and suffers from a lack of direction as a result. It kinda wastes the exceptionally attractive female lead.
Recommended if you have some time to kill and nothing else in your reading list. Otherwise, can be avoided.

And yeah, they do finally get together in the last chapter, but c'mon...Sagami has been in love with this woman for years and they had precisely zero development in their relationship until after he graduates high school? As morally questionable as their relationship could've been (and it still is even with Sagami as an adult), the storytelling definitely suffers.
Recommended if you have some time to kill and nothing else in your reading list. Otherwise, can be avoided.
