Nominally a story about someone turning into a weapon shop owner, what this actually is is an episodic emotion-of-the-week story that relies on the authors ability to convincingly write newly introduced guest characters. Doesn't work, though. Our MC is bland, listless and boringly OP, a porridge Sue whose most interesting aspect of being a weapon store owner and smith is almost absent and corroded by an easy-bake cheat. He is accompanied by a token figleaf minigirl to act as a cute distraction, which is so blatant it just brings all the other flaws into focus.

The author spends too much effort on showing off how deep his story is totes going to be, then pours the whole bowl on top of the table in a big unappetizing mess.
