The premise are quite appealing for me as I like trades and middle age story, but as far as I read the focus is too much on the romance between Lawrence and Holo rather than 'life of a trader'. Lawrence being an estabilished merchant do not help since many things feels happened outside the story (for example, his connection with his trade guild. I just do not feel his bond with the guild). The art is also rather awkward. The character's drastic expression made the scenes feels such a moodswing that kill the atmosphere. There's some good ideas related to middle age SoL here and there but to be frank it just feels like a tiny trivia corner.
Also, for someone who already lived for a very long time Holo is just.... too bratty and childish. There's nothing leads me to "yeah, she's been living for ages. She got that wisdom" kind of thinking. The narration could go with her being a hundreds y/o, decades y/o, or just 16 y/o that do not matter cause it do not reflected in how she act. Kinda annoying for me personally.

I finally got to buy all the translated volumes of this manga and was shocked to find that the scanlations were so behind on what's avalable. I was planning to buy it anyway since i love the story but i wish the groups would continue to translate it since they are my only source of a digital copy.

I prefer reading manga on my tablet since it's less bulky.

Not your tipical manga, What happens when a clever travelling merchant meets a goddess? The characters are likable (especially Holo. The mix of mystery, cuteness and cleverness, still amazes me on Vol 10), the story is great, based on large arcs, (2-3 volumes each) with a final goal set since the begining of the manga, kept me reading for hours, again (since the digital versions took long to be available, I read everything again to remember things, I read up to vol 10 in about 4 hours). Art is great, detailed and with a litle ecchi to spice things, but not too much to distract from the story.

I watched the anime to know the continuation of the story, and the story itself was great, but the art, and the atmosphere are far far (far far far) greater in the manga...
I want to read iiiiiiiiiiit !

Man, I really shouldn't have started reading this even though it isn't finished yet. Now I simultaneously wish for it to continue to around 10-20 volumes and for it to finish asap so I can read it without worrying about it possibly going on Hiatus or being discontinued due to author death or something like that.
Especially in this case as seeing how it was licensed in a lot of languages and I wouldn't want to buy it to continue reading and then something like that above happens.
Hopefully the mangaka is a fast writer >_>

theres no 'flow' in this story. the conversations are stilted, the expressions forced, the actions unnatural. well, probably the conversion from written text take some purity out of the story.

This is good. And by good I mean great. And by great I mean... well you get the feeling.
The characters are plain AWESOME ! Honestly they are pretty much the best you can find out there, vrey few can compare. The romance is well done, the story is very nice, and the plot itself is very interesting. Don't skip through it, really read it, you get a nice feel of what it meant to be a merchant in the middle-ages.

Well overall, not a single default I can find in this piece. Maybe I fear that we will not see any actual developpment between the two of them for a long time, but even that is not really a bad point. Anyway it doesn't bother at all. So obviously, a perfect score for me.

The chemistry between the two is awesome just pure awesome. The dialogue is excellent and I recommend people to watch the anime which is just pure win. The trading business is also interesting, this manga has a unique charm of its own that few mangas can pull off. The anime is a must for people as well. Its brillian both season 1 and season 2.
