It felt like the author didn't have much storytelling experience when they wrote this. Which is fine - the only way to get experience and improve is to do the thing. But the result of that is a "meh" reading experience imo: some scenes jumped the shark a bit, and the ending felt abrupt and left too much hanging. Entire plot threads were just dropped.



I'd say it's worth a read if you've got nothing else on your to-read list. The drama aspect is interesting and it's a unique story.

Read through this blind. I kept looking at the artwork and thinking it reminded me of Totally Captivated, and what do you know, it's from the same artist after all.

It was entertaining despite using quite a number of well-established plot devices. Only one felt contrived. There's enough fluff in here to rival the drama.



A lot gets resolved on the last chapter, but the ending wasn't rushed for me. It resolved everything and extending it would just've been fluff. IMO, the story suffered mainly from holding back Soohyun's secret from the readers.
