A woman gets hit by a truck and gets sent to the world of an otome game that she had played earlier that same day. However, instead of reincarnating into the main character and focus of the harem, she is fused into the soul of the game's antagonist, the protagonist's rival, and recalled this at the moment she is about to be sentenced to a "bad ending:" living out the rest of her life as a cloistered nun.

Watch as she uses the knowledge from the modern world and her past life's job to change this world set in Medieval times!

Very Nice Spin on an Overused Trope

Modern day Japanese woman gets reincarnated as the villainess character in an otome game? Cliche (admittedly, a guilty pleasure of mine to read though, as most are very entertaining ;P). But in this case, the character doesn't realize she's a reincarnation, and the story doesn't start, until after the "game over" when her character is expelled from the Royal Academy and her fiancé has been taken by the heroine.

But this adds in the twist of what happens after "game over" and actually puts some depth into consequences of each character's actions that are more expected from this world's setting. I really feel as though the author played a similar game and thought, ˜In real life, there'd be no way a typical heroine character would be able to get a happy ending with the prince, who already had a long-term, prearranged, high-ranking fiancée, without some repercussions," and then wrote this to rectify such dissonance.

And yet my favorite parts of the story happen to be the "villainess" protagonist, in her struggles to establish her place in the world and in the politics that surround not only her, but the whole kingdom.

(America, for the sake of our future, please read this, if only to gain a better understanding of the necessity of a good government body and unified country)

By chance, I picked this up, and to my surprise it is incredibly interesting. When the heroine accidentally gets transported into the body of a duke's daughter in a feudal system, does she try to figure out a way back? No, actually she uses her business acumen honed through working in Japan and tries to improve the lands and the lives of her people, setting up departments and trying to bring the best of the modern social and financial systems over there. There's also some court intrigue but it is all very interesting to read, and I highly recommend it.

This story is kinda refreshing to read. A different kind of protagonist, formerly antagonist of a romance story getting up to be a big business owner? A modern woman office worker POV as a Noblewoman daughter? Can't wait for the writer to write more of the story.
