Bored of sitting around holding a wine glass all day, the Demon Lord is looking for something new. Something cute. Someone like Komomo, the level 0 heroine who has just appeared before him, ready to vanquish him like all heroes (or heroines) do. Faced with a demon king who'd rather watch TV under a kotatsu and make out with her than spread evil over the land, what will Komomo do?

* Also include are the following short stories:

Calling in vol. 2
Stray Doll in vol. 2

Worth a read

Worth a read, it's cute, fluffy, not too long and fairly funny at times. It's far from a masterpiece, but it's a great way to kill a hour or two.

Still, go in knowing that the writing style and drawing style are both FULL BLOWN shoujo. It seems it was published in a shounen magazine or something, but this is undoubtedly a shoujo manga. I didn't know that, I always hate shoujo for the creepy style(for a guy), annoying female-male relationships(that girls and some guys might find attractive?)... I mean, it's aimed at female readers, obviously normal guys wouldn't be comfortable with it(especially these princely characters and their treatment of the female characters, I shudder when imagining myself in that situation, way too sugary and sweet for my taste). This one might not be aimed at females by the mangaka, but her style is nonetheless full-blown shoujo which shouldn't be tagged with shounen in the first place. However, since it was short and mainly comedy, I was able to read and enjoy these two volumes. The sequel however... hah.

...and then today with a physical shock saw that she was dead from illness at 31 years of age.

Her work without exception has a charm about it that has always touched me deeply. If you've never read her work before, read what you can get your hands on chronologically and you can see her passion and ever-increasing skill. This particular little gem carries on into Dears, so its shortness is not a true difficulty.

Thank you, Fujiwara Cocoa-sensei, for all you've done. May you long remain in the hearts of everyone you've touched.

it was very cute and funny! The drawings were wonderful, i loved the characters. The only thing I didn't like was how short it was TT^TT it had potential to become a long worthy story of beatifulness XD. I would suggest this as a way to kill time and get a good laugh :3

Cute, but for some reason, I really found it boring. I mean, it was hard to finish, I didn't really care about the characters, and I had to keep coming back after a while to get the whole thing done. I'm not sure why; there wasn't anything bad about it (I mean, nothing worse than the trappings of any other shujo). However, this is maybe the first manga out of over a hundred I've found so lackluster. Anyway, if you have time and nothing better to read, it won't be a loss, but it's not the best thing out there either.

This manga is totally adorable! And I loooove its comedic strategies! XD It's hilarious!!! I love the atmosphere it gives off, and I love Subaru~ <333 What I don't like is the actual POINT of their romance. I see a point, but it's not good enough for me to say "Awww~" and think "Oh my gawd, this is getting me hyped up!" Usually, for me, romance between characters I like gets me all hyped up and make me EXPLODE inside. But I felt none of that for Ookami-san. There were tiny moments when I almost felt that, but the comedy just had to make me crack up... So many twists and distractions... By the way, I like "The Other Side of Lycanthrope" better than "The Brave and the Lycanthrope". But you have to read "The Brave" before "Other Side" if you want to clearly understand the situation better... ^^

I actually finished this manga.. 0~0
it wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either..
if it had the hero girl and demon king with more phocus and a heck lot more of romance i wudda loved it to bits but it had a few interruptions.
It's actually a cute story and the 2 lead characters are interesting, but it just lacked more solidity to their one-on-one relationship

I don't know where the low votes are coming from, I found it adorable. It will get over really fast though, since there are about 2 extra story chapters in volume 2.

If you are a RPG fan you will most likely like this. Really nice artwork too. It is light and funny. I love Subaru x Komomo ^_^ Also, It has a sequel Dear so it okay for it to be short! So read this quickly then go and read Dear

Lol, this was a good chuckle just waiting to be opened. The art is alright. I have seen better. On the whole this manga was a success but could do with some changes or improvements.

Cute and funny are words used to describe a lot of shoujos out there, but this one is ACTUALLY cute and funny. Don't read if you're looking for a deep, hardcore story, this one's very light and if you take it as such you're sure to enjoy it. smile
