simple and pure

I was struck by how surprisingly simple the storyline is with a pure message of a love that heals. The emotional impact hit just right. I did cry, but it was a great ending. Stories about new beginnings and transformation get me every time.

I really loved the emotional impact of scene where Akira had to, in essence, give up Haruto. It's so strange how outside parties could see the clear objective harm Haruto was causing Akira, but Akira could not fathom that someone that essentially saved his life could cause that much harm. He even acknowledged the harm and wanted it to continue. It's like the idea could not exist in his mind that someone who loved him and changed him could ever be bad for him, and I agreed with him! I wanted the happy ending too even though I knew it had dire consequences!!

All in all, a lovely manga

My Heart Wasn't Ready

Apparently mangadex doesn't have a tragedy tag, or whoever uploaded it didn't see fit to add one, so I read this expecting a cute smutty ghost roomate story and this was anything but. I was suspicious when they didn't have sex in the first chapter, and by the second and third chapters I felt a bad premonition, and what do you know, chapter five shattered my heart. Here I am 10 mins after bawling my eyes out and look, there's the tragedy tag. Too little too late!

Oh well, long story short: READ THIS!!

By the last chapter, I was bawling. NOTHING has ever made me cry this much, and I've been reading manga for over 15 years. Definitely a read I'll be coming back to again and again to reexperience. It's a simple story but does it pack an emotional wallop. The artwork is also very clean and clear, and somehow with just a few lines Ogeretsu-sensei can express so much emotion on her characters faces. This was just 1 volume, but these characters felt REAL. A rare 10/10 work to me. Please read this story...and bring lots of tissue with you.

The Art and Story

The art is absolutely beautiful. Like, really. And while the story itself isn’t too bad either there are points when I am somewhat bothered forceful turn the story takes. Still, GOD, it really has been a long time since I have seen such sexy and clear art work. Like, I would read it just for that.
But overall, it is very beautiful. And while the story does have a few bumps given the subject matter which is being dealt here these difficulties are very much understandable. Moreover, this is something which isn’t much tried out in the yaoi genre, so I really do appreciate that the ending was not clichéd at all.

A very sad story about a guy that lost his motivation to pursue music professionally but after an accident he was able to see a ghost that was his first fan ever. This meeting changed his life in many levels. I have to warn you, if you are familiar with Ogeretsu-sensei's works and came here to read a smut story, this isn't it. This story is all about the feels. The art is beautiful and detailed.I recommend it, if you're emotionally prepared for it...
Update: I wasn't. After reading the last chapter, I cried my eyes out and now I feel all empty inside...
