Description
The story follows an average, albeit untidy guy named Hajime Tsukiyoda. Hajime's peaceful everyday life comes to an end when a man-eating goldfish overtake Shibuya. The fish are everywhere, filling the famous scramble crossing, hanging near the Hachiko statue, and even floating through the city center all the while eating as many humans as they can. The unprecedented crisis marks the "worst survival competition in history." [ANN]

Basically a zombie story with fish

I read 5 volumes of this hoping it would get better... It got slightly better from the bland start but not by much. I thought it would be fun to see killer goldfish and it was a bit, but the novelty wears off pretty quick. After that it’s basically a zombie story at heart. Every human who dies, the fish increase in numbers, the humans die out. The only really interesting character is the “Sable of Shibuya” who is a almost super powered homeless guy, not even joking, was the only thing that kept me reading. The main protagonist is an annoying heroic idiot with no skills whatsoever. All in all it’s not bad for a survival horror type story but honestly I prefer something with more than just endless gore. Like GANTZ or Dragon Head
